                This should be name:
                8 minus gen 3 (8- gen 3)
                Or 8s plus gen 3 (8s+ gen 3)

                Anyway
                Both Qualcomm & Mediatek made my head explode
                Their recent naming craziness really upset my brain

                  just naming it as 8+ gen 3 or whatever, leave that Elite name for chipset with oryon cores

                    Spoiler alert, Architecture and Cortices prevail.
                    What you many are trying to do is retro fit new (most likely false) information with established facts
                    There is certainly another Qualcomm SoC coming, it may 'resemble' the above and the above 2 million Antutu score 2000001? It's name WON'T be Elite if Arm Cortices, getting the name right adds credibility.

                    The name cannot be 8s Elite if it is NOT using custom Oryon cortices

                    Assuming the clock speed is correct AND Oryon yes

                    If on the other hand stock Arm cortices then NO. The tipster have gotten the name wrong.

                    Just like we were in 2023 and after Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 other Qualcomm SoC were being released not named 8s Gen 3

                    Oryon equals 8s Elite YES

                                I don't mean to be rude here but I bet the people who named and designed the chipsets there are Chinese people or something I dont know bruh but their naming schemes and allat just sucks fr.

                                  I may be wrong here but,

                                  This chipset is supposed to be a weaker version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite(maybe?)but the thing is, it's not using any Oryon cores at all.

                                  So that means that this Snapdragon 8s Elite here is ANOTHER weaker version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or something?Well I'm not too sure yet but hear me out:

                                  As yall might know,the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is supposed to be a weaker version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a weaker Andreno 735 GPU and also it shares the same core configurations as the 8 Gen 3 but with lower clocks than it.

                                  And then there's this Snapdragon 8s Elite,which I thought that it might be a weaker version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite by using the same Oryon cores but with lower clock speeds and a weaker GPU.

                                  But instead,it doesn't use any Oryon cores and it uses the exact same core configurations with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but it's cores are clocked BETWEEN THE SNAPDRAGON 8S GEN 3 AND SNAPDRAGON 8 GEN 3.

                                  So that means that the Snapdragon 8s Elite is ANOTHER weaker version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but with it's cores clocked CLOSER TO THE SNAPDRAGON 8 GEN 3.

                                  Also the Snapdragon 8s Elite can score up to around 2.0M Antutu score which makes it placed between the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 that can score up to 1.7M and also the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which can Antutu score up to 2.3M Antutu score.GET IT???

                                  Okay look I know this sounds confusing but I hope yall get it.Man Qualcomm is getting crazy with all this nonsense 💀

                                  Sorry my bad these 3 chipsets are not exactly the same when it comes to the core configurations and their clock speeds but they are pretty similiar if you think about it

                                    In a nutshell, it'll be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with an Adreno 800 series GPU. That's fine by me.

                                      This is like and upgraded 8s gen 3 , i bet the performance will be a minor upgrade and will be still below 8 gen 3 level

                                      Looks like they just upgrade the gpu to 8 gen 2 levels
