                          budget phones are a scam now. it's actually cheaper and better to buy the previous year's flagship at a good discount after a new one launches. this way you get a solid phone that easily lasts 5-6 years

I thought it wouldn't be, but it is. But there also need to be present a better CPU, RAM and UFS in order to feel it. Otherwise the low parameters will be the chokepoint and will not allow for the full speed to show.

                              These parameters for this price from inflation standpoint seems reasonable, but from price for value is not.

                              Whover buys this will be at a disadvantage.

                              My previous phone was Xiaomi Redmi 10C from 2022 and I remember it costed slightly more, but the parameters were much better with SD680 and UFS 2.2, the only downside was the display was LCD and had below 300 ppi.

                              Now I got a Realmi 14 Pro Plus and when I was the store for a new phone and my idea was to get something slightly better with my upper price limit being 600 USD, but I saw that all the phones at that price had literally the same or worse parameters than mine except for better display and a little bit more storage and RAM, which doesn't feel an improvement, but rather a grift. So I realized if I wanted something better, I had to pay at least 600 USD.

                              This looks like a really low budget phone and I can see it being viable for someone who's coming from a device with much lower parameters and this feels like an upgrade to them.
