As a Galaxy S24 Ultra user, I’m considering switching to Pixel phones, but their processors lag behind Snapdragon and even Dimensity chips. I’m also not a fan of iOS, Apple products, or Chinese smartphones. What I’m waiting for is the Pixel 10 series to see if Google’s Tensor G5 chip brings significant improvements in processing power and GPU performance.

GAMIR3DH, 25 Mar 2025Again, why complain?
You don't see me on every Apple/... moreYou can see my complaints on vivo phones typed from my vivo device as well, I criticize things that aren't good, not just things that are from the brands that I actually use.
My issue with Sammy and their devices is that they are selling these on the promise of support, yet their support is subpar, but people aren't just keep buying them but defending them, if they do updates fast they are the best out there, if they do them slow they are still the best.
Not everything can and should be overlooked just because it's the favourite brand of one. That applies to every brand.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2025No idea what you're talking about or using, but I'... moreIt's a Snapdragon phone, not an Exynos model. Even so, that doesn't change the fact that Samsung is one of those brands that lag for accidental actions. The only positive about that is how it repels accidental touches for the most part, whether the option is disabled or not.

Don't buy a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. When it comes to OS updates, they are among the worst. It's already March, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra is still stuck on One UI 6.1. Despite promising seven years of OS updates, Samsung has yet to deliver any major updates for its Galaxy phones. Reports from April suggest that there's still no update in sight. Now, with the first quarter of 2025 over, there's still no sign of an update. So, think twice before buying a Samsung phone.

Hmm, 25 Mar 2025For sure. This website is full of anti-Samsung trolling. Be... moreAccording to my status info, I've had my S10e on for 51 days straight, and yeah no issues. Actually the biggest reason I'm going to get the S25 later this year is simply this phone's battery having degraded over time (nothing crazy but definitely noticeable) and apps and games just necessitating better specs nowadays. I still plan on keeping this as a backup/second phone though.
Regular restarts are good for every computer, but I do want to try to push this at least to 69 days of uptime. That'd be nice.

Hmm, 25 Mar 2025And? Just because security updates arrive 2 weeks later doe... moreIt's simply a bad look on devices where the software support is a big selling point, plus if these SECURITY updates were truly important then they would need to come as early as possible, this just proves they aren't important at all.
Just a small reply to your other comment, it is good and is recommended for any phone to be turned off once in a while even if it's no longer receiving software updates.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2025No idea what you're talking about or using, but I'... moreFor sure. This website is full of anti-Samsung trolling. Before my S25 I had S10e and it stopped receiving updates years ago. So because of that I no longer had a reason to restart phone and I once had about 400 days of up time without reboots (you can see this information in phone status). And phone was still stable as ever without a single issue.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2025No idea what you're talking about or using, but I'... moreThat's what I am trying to understand. I bought the S25 recently(Pre-Order) (my first Samsung phone after 10 years). I have used OnePlus, Nothing in the Past. I have no issue with device so far. So crashes, app lag etc.
I am a power user, I edit videos on my phone, click pictures etc. I'm not a gamer but I did try one or twice just to check hardware no issue.
So I want to know what people are doing with their phones (Flagship Phone) that it is so unusable.

Those Samsung fanboys mock Chinese phones for being slow at giving updates many years ago. They think that fast updates is better than slow updates.
But this year, when Samsung IS the one who slow at giving updates, those "fast at giving updates" thing is no longer important anymore. They start to think that slow updates is better than fast updates.
What kind of double standard is this???
The same goes to curved screen tbh. Curved screen is great when Samsung is the one of the few companies that use it, but when Chinese companies start using it and Samsung stops using it, Curved screen is bad all of the sudden???
