Interesting "Leak"...Hold on to your iPhone buying horses, Nokia is about to charge!
Corporate IP is so heavily protected these days, and a leak of this nature is unlikely to be completely innocent. Let's look at it:

There are no details other than a clean list of mouthwatering specs.
(This keeps the marketing guys happy so they still have something to shout about come release date)

There is no detail further than the first quarter 09.
(No deep dark secrets released about design/spec/market direction)

The timing is ripe
(iPhone is doing great, Nokia is suspiciously absent from the large touchscreen phone manufacturer list, so it's a "hold on we are coming soon!" message from corporate.)

The content is very light on.
(If it was a "real" leak, there would be more details and at least a small amount of info that could embarrass Nokia execs...but there is none of this material)

Oh my god! I'm sounding like a conspiracy theorist!

Anyway, go Nokia! I can't wait to see the new touch screen phones and I probably WILL wait now I know some are coming soon.

So a big "JOB WELL DONE!" Nokia. :-)

there is no way on this earth that 500mb onboard memory for a phone is enough, enough ram, yes. But thats a different story. If u use a phone 2 its maximum potential, as i, and many other people do, you will realise that onboard memory is much better than a memory card it runs smoother and u dont have compatibility problems with the cards! It is especially faster and u NEVER get those memory full errors because u have 2 little ram when browsing the net on large pages or messing around! 32gb is an amazing amount of memory but even an ipod has 120gb. Phones are multimedia devices that store everything from movies 2 pictures 2 music. I personaly only have a 2gb card but i have almost a TB of multimedia on my pc. So 2gb is kinda tiny. So i congratulate nokia for their efforts on trying 2 put mass phone memory high up on their lists.!! Its a big thumbs up! And who wants 2 spend the extra cash buying new memory cards? U already forking out mega for the phone! Im really glad nokia are coming out with touch screens.

This is why one my reasons for returning my N85 with xmas coming up loads of phones will becoming available, an with Nokia not competing nowdays with Samsung an Sony Ericsson they had to be working on something to shock them two,mobile-review showed the new "N" series touch screen mobile in Black last week an looks a very good mobile indeed,so now will wait to see these mobiles in Full,an alot of people will be upset with themselves signing up for the N96 or N85 to early instead of waiting as Nokia had to release something to amaze the others

The "Eitri" sounds like the mother of all phones. A while ago Symbian Freak done an article about Nokia researching into Touch Screens with localized tactile feedback. I'm not talking about haptic feedback.

"pressure sensitive touch UI with tactile feedback and gestures".

Nice specs. Hope they also work on symbian and make it more complex, like WinMobile. The Etri and Ivalo look like the replacement to my current E90 :D . Corolla has nice specs but no touchscreen, unfortunatly, and that is a no for me.

[deleted post]yeah but a memory card doesn't have the same transfer speed as a internal memory so that makes the phone slower
