All these vlogging cameras are stupid size and weight. Better to buy a GoPro or Instax360 or Osmo especially at £300 standard kit or less on sale! Trust me walking around vlogging all day.

Akio , 27 Mar 2025I'm entirely new to camera and photography so can some... moreSensor on xiaomi 15 ultra is 1" TYPE sensor(it's not true 1" sensor it's relative 1" type) and also the 240mm on a smartphone it's not true 240mm zoom lens(it's a mimic of 240mm lens on cameras) that's why zoom capabilities on smartphone rely so many to AI. A true lens consists of at least 5 to 10 different glass(Convex and Concave) and more zoom range on a lens equals to less f number(if you want to get better f number on a zoom lens it will be more expensive 2000$+). And the final thing is Smartphone camera is nothing like Real camera it's just a mimic or reminder of real camera due to limitations of space for both sensor size and lens size.

Akio , 27 Mar 2025I'm entirely new to camera and photography so can some... moreYou’re misunderstanding the article. The Canon Powershot V1 has a sensor size of 1.4 inches, which is huge by smartphone standards, and is also larger than the well-regarded Sony RX 100 series. And the reason the zoom tops out at 52mm, is because the priority is on the wide-angle of 16mm. For walk-around vloggers, it’s important to have a wide angle for self-filming, to get one’s own image comfortably in the frame. But if your use case isn’t that of vlogging, then the camera may not be for you.

Akio , 27 Mar 2025I'm entirely new to camera and photography so can some... moreIt's not 1/1.4"
        It's micro four third size.
        Bigger than 1" sensor.

I'm entirely new to camera and photography so can someone explain why this camera has like 1/1.4" sensor and 52mm focal length but smartphone cameras have like 1" sensor and 240mm focal length and better aperture. Again, I'm just asking a question and not making a statement.

Pocket 3 way better. Wayyyyy better

Half the price of Xiaomi 15 ultra and way better cameras.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2025Nobody that uses photocameras care about frame stacking. You'll never learn

Invetor, 27 Mar 2025nice but PowerShot V1 costs $900 and EOS R50 V costs $8... moreIt's Because of the lens. To have a lens like the one on the v1 on r50 v you have to pay like 1000$ more, but for someone like me i still choose Zv-e10 both for price and much much more lens selections. 900$ for a point and shoot is ridiculous!

potato4k, 27 Mar 2025$900? Who's buying these?I do. I like taking great pictures. Even if a similarly priced phone can take similar pictures(I don't believe they can), phones don't last as long as these cameras.

And if you want to talk numbers, a camera like this plus a redmi phone costs less than the xiaomi 15 ultra.

To be honest, 1.4" sensor with 22Mp is a bit over kill for Vlogging, APS-C even more overkill.
While better IQ is always good but it come as a cost of size, weight and price.

Need an update for 740 (ZOOM)

                                        nice

                                        and EOS R50 V costs $850 (body+lens)

I don't get it. Shouldn't the newb friendly PowerShot V1 cost much less than the more advanced EOS R50 V?
