      And I doubt the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip costs less than $200 in the first place.
      The most affordable ones I can find online are iqoo neo 10, oneplus ace 5, or poco f7 pro. You can use that as a benchmark for your revised cost cutting dream.

Smartphones are not just a "tool" to keep for long. You may feel it that way, but for the majority of people, it is an experience. There's a reason even "performance" budget phones like the iQOOs try to tick all boxes.

I would 100% buy a $200 8 Gen 3 + UFS 3.1 phone with HD+ 60Hz screen, back camera 13mp, front camera 5mp, 5k mAh battery, 10w charging, plastic back, mono speaker, and no FP sensor.

              People complaining about this phone's design are weird.

              It's a Sub $250 USD phone people!

              Comes with a huge battery and for the price a decent SoC with frankly good looks. If they manage symmetrical bezels with this, it'd be a forst of its kind in this segment.

              To be even more frank, I wish they has skipped on secondary cameras, saved the budget there and provided a slightly better SoC or used it toward more storage and USB 3.0+
