The Exynos 2600 will be fabbed on Samsung's SF2, a 2nm node with third-generation Gate All Around tech.

Recently Samsung replaced snapdragon with exynos for some reason and is asking more money. I don't understand it.

Is the Exonys better then Sd 🙂🙂🤔

The S21 Ultra was my last Exynos phone I will ever buy.

                  30% is good yield now?

I get semiconductor manufacturing is complex and hard but that horrible yield cost is passed on to consumers.

Anything below 70% yield is bad imo.

No wonder SoCs are getting ridiculously expensive.

DarlingYext, 31 Mar 2025"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover." ... moreI doubt that people who are willing to spend upwards of 1000 dollars on a phone would assume it has larger cameras just because of the camera rings 🤣

If Samsung's real goal by using camera rings was to make it seem that the camera sensors have gotten bigger when they haven't, then why haven't they also added the camera rings to their A series phones for example??

Their real intent is to use camera rings for durability. Anyone who thinks that it indicates better cameras is just ignorant.

I do not, but many buyers do, and I would know that very well, as I work in a store selling accessories for phones.

"And literally no one thinks that larger camera rings = larger camera lenses."

A ton of people do, that's why all the midrange phones have gigantic camera rings around their tiny 1/2.76" sensors and 2MP depth/macro sensors, and it's actually shocking to see the same happening to some flagship devices.

The ultrawide camera on the S25 Ultra despite the higher resolution is actually a smaller sensor than what the S24 Ultra has, yet it looks bigger, and that's the point of those rings.
