A36 ain't worth it, get the Nothing Phone 3a instead.
A56 ain't worth it either, get the S24 FE instead.

Dani, 05 Apr 2025A36 is good for gaming low price good performance.Low price? You can get a Poco F5 for cheaper than the A36 and have a stronger processor. Besides, newer snapdragons will have less support for custom drivers.

Samsung fell behind Motorola with its A line.
Even the $200 G75 has ip68/98, MIL-STD-810H and watertouch. The much more expensive A56 has none of that.

I've been using an iPhone 13 mini for 3 years purely for its size, and switched to my backup A33 5G and even that is really bulky and I'm shocked that it's the smallest A series phone from 2022 onwards. How are people carrying around and comfortably such enormous phones? It's crazy that in this saturated mid-range market there are no compact options, not even sub 155mm, let alone

Hosseini, 05 Apr 2025Neither one A36 is good for gaming low price good performance.

                            Neither one

My only reservations about the recent Galaxy A series is their bulk. Their width and weight are ridiculously uncomfortable for a screen that's not as large as the slimmer and lighter competitors. At least these year they manage to shave the weight a bit. Still, wish Samsung find another ODM. Hopefully the S 25 Edge will spur a new beginning and trickling down some diet to the A series.

The worst midrange devices in quite a while

"Neither of these phones are a bad pick"? After this site railed Samsung for delivering the same product for the 3rd year in a row, but now with the added bonus of worse battery life and worse camera processing? These phones are objectively both terrible picks unless you like wasting your money. And if you do, then why not splurge it on a flagship? These are terrible value for money, go buy a better mid-ranger.

Is the signal strength and call quality of the Galaxy A56 still worse than that of the Snapdragon?
