    I remember my first smartphone I bought was alcatel, it was the Flash. I was looking forward to buy new smartphone to alcatel because I was quite satisfied for the product and it was also cheap. It was quite long before they release a decent item after that phone. But now I was hooked with Samsung's zoom camera and UI that I'm not sure when I will go back to using affordable smartphones again.

                        Really?? 😳 I knew Alcatel phone brand owned by TLC like years years ago. Only now GSMArena knows about it?? Seriously?? 🤦🏻‍♂️ In my country, Alcatel phones from the smartphone to the basic candybar & flip phones (dumb phone) are available. GSMArena are living in its own bubble I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

                              Maybe it's time to let old brands like Nokia and Alcatel die. But I wish someone would bring back Blackberry.

                                For many years TCL deliberately kept Alcatel in the ultra low cost segment to avoid frontal competition against Blackberry brand (acquired from IRM) they were then trying to revive unsuccessfully but it has a certain potential in the mid-range and mid-range premium segments.

                                      Enjoy an old commercial about Idol 3, from 2015, but a commercial made with heart! Not like the ones we have now... I didn't have it back then, but I remember blasting the commercial on TV, so I added it as a favorite.

                                        Hopefully the make better initial devices than Acer'a horrendous attempt...
