sad to see degradation of “fusion” moniker by motorola. It used to provide a midddle ground between vanilla edge and edge pro. 30 fusion is still almost twice faster than edge 50 fusion and 60 fusions.

      Let me guess

      India : d7400, 12/512, 5500mAh
      Americas : d7300, 8/256, 5200mAh , 2x more expensive

When motorola sells more in Americas than India.

Well, I've been using a vivo device with such back material for nearly 2 years now and it still looks brand new, so I'm sure Motorola phones would last just as long.

Was hoping to see at least 4 OS updates (starting from Android 15), since Edge 50 Neo with MTK 7300 is getting updated till Android 19 (starting from Android 14), so updating 60 Fusion to Android 19 as well wouldn't have required much additional effort.

However, 3 years is still decent, and at this price point, complaining about it would be nitpicking.

Great launch by Motorola. Although there isn't any large improvement in any particular area, but a lot of minor improvements across the board make it a much-improved device as compared to Edge 50 fusion.

Design - Smaller top and bottom bezels
Display - Higher resolution and higher peak brightness
              Display protection - GG7i (vs GG5)
Processor - 5-10% higher CPU and GPU performance + more power-efficient TSMC node (although a move from Qualcomm to MTK may be seen as a downgrade in some aspects, but in my view the pros outweigh the cons)
              Battery - 10% larger capacity
Camera - Slightly larger aperture on front camera + an additional light sensor (might not be any substantial benefits but it's there)
              Protection - IP68/69 + MIL STD-810H (vs IP68)

What's more, the 8/256GB variant (which is the base variant) has been launched at the same price as 8/128GB variant of Edge 50 fusion.

Hmm, still no pulltabs for the battery I presume, Motorola is late to that easy repair party but specs are neat-o!

jerem06, 02 Apr 2025Only one model presented for the Edge 60 series? Will they ... moreMost probably

I don't like the dual chipset strategy, but aside from that the phone is good.

Still a 3d curved screen at the sides. Not for me!

I'm happy to see that Motorola continues on the same elan with their devices. I do like Motorola devices a lot and this one again will be one the I would love to hold in my hands. Also the fact that they are moving towards quad-curved displays it a good thing (although quad-curved is nothing more than an empty word invented by marketeers to say "it's a flat screen with slightly curved edges"). The leather back is also something that I really like. However, I don't know how well those materials fare after two-three years. Anyway it's nice to see that some brands dare to use other materials than the eternal glass back sides. Motorola definitely became my favourite brand again.

                            Beautiful phone

                              Powerhouses

I'm curious about the others in the Edge 60 series. I need a couple of backup devices for many ppl productionals but it doesn't seem any different in the inside to the Edge 50 Neo... I couldn't be more wrong. There's emails to me from Motorola I'm waiting for but you're getting more bang for your buck.
I'll say this. I've never been more productive on a phone I didn't want. The Neo 50 didn't come in the colour I wanted nor the chipset, however it has grown on me hugely. after losing my the highly capable 144hz sd888+ with intuitive UI. I was like never again. But they come cheaper than a lot of flagship devices with more potential. Like today I was thinking of saying goodbye to Photoshop Express. And the lack of bloatware is astounding. Plz plz plz someone get me a demo device.

Will it get the same 5 OS updates policy as the 50 Neo or was that just a one off?

Only one model presented for the Edge 60 series? Will they announce them one by one?

Same design different name... Motorola phones used to be fun and exciting
