walkman and other high end music players are still being made and have no replacement as of tech available currently bc no modern wireless audio comes close to that quality, I'm not even going to get into how notches are just a temporary measure and btw the iphone 17 series will not be port-less whoever told you that? you can go rant about your so called futuristic tech to companies like Sennheiser or HiBy on how you're airpods beat their high end equipment and give them a good laugh. It's no use arguing with people like you who swallow every thing companies say by slapping on "future" labels on sh3t without even considering their downsides. you can keep up the argument for the next 10-20yrs until the tech your talking about actually becomes good enough to replace wired music.

          I mean Iphone 17 series will all go wireless. Mean no holes at all. Wireless charging so only wireless audio. No USB C port or any other whathoewer you wish for.

          Before 2030 even the low end midrangers will be wireless only and your best option will be buying some ancient walkman from 70/80/90s era or go wireless like rest of the world othervise you will looks like caveman among all modern people who welcomed future with open arms.

If you want to get wireless speeds and stability that is close to good wired ones try contacting the military or more specifically stuff like the Link systems on 5th gen fighters. You simply don't understand what you talk about, The BT audio on a Snapdragon 8 elite tops out at 24bit-96khz but a capable DAP with a good wired headphones could go as high as 32bit-384khz, less than 1% of bluetooth devices are even capable of playing audio close to the above quality.

                      For AirPods Max Apple states: ”USB-C that enables Lossless Audio and easy charging.", so basically even Apple clearly admits that wireless has downsides regarding audio quality.
                      Beats Studio Pro, e.g., are shipped with a USB-C cable and a 3,5 mm cable, so again, even Apple obviously doesn't buy the story you're telling us here.

                      Not that Apple is in any way much of a headphone manufacturer in my book and I had BT headphones years before Apple (iPhone) even supported Bluetooth stereo, but obviously you think they're somehow relevant, so...

                        I wish Sony would go back to glossy glass backs or even mirror finished ones like the Z5. Looked so premium! The current matte ones look and feel so much like plastic. Also a higher res screen needs to return, at least 3K like most flagships.
