I myself could make a half an hour long vid on OneUi and all its quirks but people consider it "The best". If the best sucks so much then others would suck as well. Nothing is perfect.

Definitely seems like Vivo cameras are purely catered to the Asian markets and model photography. Could seriously see someone like Manny Ortiz use this phone as a back up.

Too much beautification again. I have the X100 ultra. Maybe the best smartphone for photos and all around, but the beautification in portraits is a problem.

I would prefer it if they make the bottom half of the phone thicker to match the thickness of the lens protector glass. It would be easier to hold the phone if thickness is the same all around. They can either put a bigger battery or a heat sink to fill up the extra space.

If you zoom on the faces, you see typical AI picture with cartoonish skin texture like rubber. Ugly

and you can just change it with themes/the customisation suite provided to an even closer match

i agree tho, at this point variable aperture is a must!!

I could take similar photos with my Samsung sgh E250

                                  Noticed something.
The second 50mm, at first I thought it was out of focus, but it's not, is just that the focus is on the distant eye, but the depth of field is so swallow on a big sensor behind a 35mm that when a face is at a angle you can't get it all in focus, half of it falls out.

I imagine that Vivo don't use much artificial background blur on portraits because it isn't needed. The natural blur the cameras produce is already enough, but IMO this makes a variable aperture even more urgent!

                                    Okay, if it's 7.2 inches 18:9 I'll buy one

Camera is great, but having funtouch os is a crime for 1600$. What vivo did is basically have two teams making their two os, interns and juniors in the funtouch department, seniors in the origin os department, just release origin globally and cut the crap

I would like a phone with a great camera, but... "small". And it's not about thickness, but length above all. Maximum 6 inches, 145mm, 70mm aka...iPhone 13 but full camera!

Most models, even if they have smaller versions, are worse because they have shortcomings - worse light, number of lenses, lack of ultrawide. In addition, cuts often concern the amount of RAM, memory speed.

I would like the best camera but in the smallest phone possible, and even the small ones grow - in size and weight. And the new Sony V II would be enough for me - but with a full camera from Sony 1 VII. Pixel - but with cameras like in XL/Pro. Currently I am waiting for Pixel 10 Pro - I hope the size will be the same as in 9. It would be nice if it also had an LED diode for notifications and a card slot, 3.5mm jack.

If Sony releases 5 VII with a full camera, I will choose Sony, if not, then probably Pixel 10 Pro if Google dosnt break something.
