Furthermore, I have the freaking device on hand with me right now, and any and all softwares I use to test stuff explicitly shows UFS 2.x storage type. Have you even gotten your hands on one of these or are you just going off of pre-conceived notions and using links that satisfy them?

Stop being needlessly angry. You're the one dragging this comment section down with your drivel.

The Galaxy A26 and A36 are both poor value for money ??? I purchased a Galaxy A35 (8GB/256GB) a while ago, with a good discount, and am quite happy with it.
(As much help as if this site didn't exist)

Second the A34 is UFS 2.2; the A35 upgraded to 3.1 A36 back to 2.2 many site including nanoreview (so I will defer to those not your ''testing") which in itself has limited real world effects

The loss of memory card support for significant as they supported cards up to 1Tb this is 8X the base storage 4x maximum storage. S25 Ultra 1Tb no expansion. If you have more than128Gb media on memory card...

"I want to clarify: This website you have linked to is absolutely.... CORRECT 😱

Do some research before you multi post, (nit pick this mid ranger) The comment section is already being dragged down by 'less than one' who knows less nothing, so fabricates even more. That explains the update.

So, let me try and explain it to you, the A26 (mentioned in the comment I replied to) is NOT a better phone than the A35 just because it has longer software support, so no I wouldn't recommend that over the A35. I hope it's clear now, altough I doubt it.

Cah Nglayab, 21 Apr 2025Also, the Galaxy A35 comes pack with UFS 3.1, while the A36... moreI missed this comment.

I want to clarify: This website you have linked to is absolutely wrong. The Galaxy A35 does not use UFS 3.1 storage. It is either UFS 2.1 or 2.2 only. It is most likely the latter (meaning GSM Arena is also wrong in this regard) as most other review sites, including the likes of notebookcheck and cybershack (who are very thorough in their reviews), note it to be UFS 2.2 storage.

My own tests with the A35 confirm this. Storage type shows UFS 2.x

You wake up at the crack of Samsung article just to share the uneducated and unedited hype that only exists in Darling Yext world.

'However, a much clearer picture becomes apparent when we break up the life expectancy based on the brand. We see the bigger brands having longer lifespans. The lifetime of smartphones like Samsung and iPhone is much longer than smaller brands.

Here is a breakdown of the average mobile life ACCORDING TO THE DIFFERENT BRANDS: (my capitalisation)

iPhone – four to eight years
Samsung – three to six years
Huawei – two to four years
Xiaomi – two to four years
Oppo – two to three years"

Unless damaged / latest iteration not required improved features / etc there is less reason to replace a phone which work. FLAGSHIP or not flagship,

It's no surprise to see you antithetical take on the original article (indeed seeing fabricated aspects not mentioned( anywhere else). Or the oh so familiar year one let's invent a new situation, and skew my text to that

Same as the A25 vs A26 and A55 vs A56 articles, the Ax6 series is not worth it (basically a skippable generation) compared to the previous generation (the Ax5) while also being cheaper.

The Galaxy A26 and A36 are both poor value for money. I purchased a Galaxy A35 (8GB/256GB) a while ago, with a good discount, and am quite happy with it. My alternate choice was a Galaxy A55, which is currently going for roughly the same price as a brand new A36.

For those considering the A36: If you absolutely want a Samsung, do yourself a favour and go for the Galaxy A35 or A55 instead. The former is especially better value for money if it is the e-sim supported version. Get the A55 only for better battery life and slightly better cameras.

Some people will argue that you should consider the A36 for its Qualcomm X62 modem and strong signal reception. Well, let me tell you that my A35 has been no worse on signal reception than my wife's Redmi Note 13 Pro, which also has the Qualcomm X62 and well-tuned antennas. And she is on the same network provider and data plan.

They cut the charge time for 0-100% from 85 minutes to about 70 minutes. That is a roughly 18% difference. If they cut it down by double that, then it'd be something.

Even the a34 is the same, except waterdrop notch. 3rd generation stuck on the same place.

I don't think the A36 design is more refined, on the contrary. And the A line losing SD card support is a major dealbreaker. You're literally losing about 1 TB of storage without the possibility to upgrade it.

6 OS updates would basically be their reason to justify buying the A26 over A35, as otherwise there is nothing to justify.

Hopicus, 21 Apr 2025GSMarena never disclose what game is used to make the batte... morethey DID say a medium load type of game so genshin, honkai and some other stuff like that are out of the question.

It IS funny tho that some phones dont last at all whereas others last a long time despite having the same chip, leading me to believe the one throttling the most wins.

GSMarena never disclose what game is used to make the battery test. Because 1 hour of playing genshin impact and 1 hour of playing spades do not consume same same battery.

The perfect definition of a sidegrade.
It is disappointing that the A36 didn't get the 1480.

But then again, yearly upgrades are a thing of the past. For A32/A33 users, the A36 remains a solid upgrade. Of course, if you can find the A35 for less, it's also a good phone, and 3 years left of OS update is perfectly fine in this class.
