Looks like a trimmed down version, don't see shoulder buttons either, what's the point, this should be something they should use with newer versions, of course when has China stopped because we questioned something being made from them, never and now NRM10/+ will have an AIR version, wtf, why not better battery tech instead ?

Anonymous, 08 Apr 2025Bruh WTF 8000 is too much too ask for normal pixel cones in... morethis is a gaming phone, it's supposed to be bigger and thicker.

                  A 6.6" ROG Phone back in 2019 came with a 6000 mah battery. The 6.7" S10 5G of the same year came with a 4500 mah battery. That's a 33% larger battery.

The Redmagic 10 Pro+ is slightly larger than other phones, at 6.85" and has a 7000 mah battery when others come with a 6000 mah one, that's only a 16% larger battery. Not only that, but there's also a fan, so the power needs are even higher than a normal phone.

So why exactly should this phone NOT need a larger battery? Do you even have a brain up there? THINK!

Of course, when I go out and buy a gaming phone, the first thing I think about is the thickness

Running a 10 Pro and one of my favorite "feature" is no camera bump or protruding cameras. Battery is unreal for gaming. Regular use i get almost two and a half full days before charging.

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 08 Apr 202510mm+ for "good thermal management"? Thickness d... more*with good thermal management"

Nobody said thicker means better but fighting physics is a fools errand and one that leads to unnecessary cost increases.

Thicker phone means bigger battery and more space for passive cooling because thermal mass is literally proportional to total volume.

Comparing Tensor to the current leader in mobile SoCs is a poor comparison.

Google has never made competitive hardware so it's no surprise they suck at it. Qualcomm once did too, those who remember the Snapdragon S4 and 810 would know.

Anonymous, 08 Apr 2025What for? Their RM10 Pro lasted 5 hours of Genshin. https... moreas if other normie phones can't do that lol

this gaming phone needs at least an 8000 mah battery, when normal phones are coming with 6000 mah, a 7000 mah one just does NOT look impressive at all.

And their speakers aren't even remotely good enough to be used as an excuse. Asus's ones are far better, clearer and have little to no distortion comparatively.

Also imagine being in a hot place with the phone fan turned on during the test, yeah that'd finish the phone up even faster.

Same brand launched a flat designed phone where camera was not having bump. Now going to launch this phone hearing from other brands 😂😂

I'm down for this, as long as battery capacity is a slight decrease. Always thought the RedMagic phones were a bit thick for my liking

I think this device will have the new snapdragon 8s gen 4

They have Silicon Carbon tech and I can assume this will still pack a large battery capacity like 6,000mAh Si/C. Also this could be the dream waterproof RedMagic most have been waiting for years now.

We'll see about that on April 16th.
