I almost bought the 2024 version from Google Fi. There were just too many things It did not have that I wanted. The 2025 release addresses all of those things and adds 256 GB as the standard storage, win win! Hope Google Fi adds it soon!

      I hope they add the AI features this phone is getting to the 2024 model in it's eventually Android 15 update.

        MCA5287, 11 Apr 2025You're correct...their bottom page descriptions states... moreI was worried too until I bought my moto edge. This removal makes the phone water proof ip67/68. You can buy the 3.5 aux to usb-c converter for 5-10 bucks at Walmart or Amazon. Hope this info helps.

                        At that price, lot of competition, I'd go nothing phone myself
                        I won't even look further at this phone.

                          I have the 2024 motor g5g , love the phone. I can see it outside on the beach. The QLed display is great

                            Wtf with these colors? Why can't I get a basic black/gray?
