CMF Phone 2 Pro teaser promises a "fresh take" and a new design

09 April 2025
The trademark removable back will remain, though, judging by the screws.

Anonymuss, 09 Apr 2025Not gonna buy if 3.5mm jack missingI'm sorry but you're gonna have to buy a from another OEM or just use a dongle. Not many companies are willing to add a dongle when they can just make wireless earbuds/headphones and sell it to masses.

Hopefully we have removable battery this time

Mills, 09 Apr 2025Looks like recycled plastic IMO. Hopefully they add stereo ... moreThey know you psycology, so they don't want nfc in cmf series, because microsd

Not gonna buy if 3.5mm jack missing

Looks like recycled plastic IMO. Hopefully they add stereo speakers and NFC to this phone. Other things they should include is just a decent camera setup (wide + ultrawide + obligatory macro/depth).

I don't care about the screws, only if it supports e-sim. No e-sim no buy.

Looks interesting. I may upgrade from my cmf (1) to this, if the rumours of a smaller size are true

If you've been on r/nothing or r/nothingtech (yes I have), you may have noticed that there is a monthly cap for the Essential Space's AI, that wasn't documented in the T&C.

So don't buy the Phone 3a series for that button yet (otherwise you know how to remap it which requires third party tools), perhaps even this if it comes with it.

I am so sorry if my tiny goldfish brain can't comprehent this, which part of this teaser is even remotely showing the "fresh take" again?
