Thats a nice compact phone...but people are so used to scrolling all day on tiktok ig so companies made phones longer and narrower

      $1000 HarmonyOS NEXT problems: external display only for hsrmony-app (not app-galery) + only his chine keyboard (because gboard & etc only in virtualisation-googleservices) + two diffrent virtual-machines for apk&googlemarket (part app work in first and part only second - two groups app from android) ... yes it is degoogled but need apk-virtualisation as in tlc-blackberry-passport (pura-x in this passport-format) and ms-nokia(winphone has virtyalusation) for eating battery - for chines market it ideal but other need made his application for this degoogled harmony-next ... by $500 he interesting as flip ipadmini and bb-passport with wp-virtualisation but as-as cameras & etc ... i am true this format&device but virtualusation only mainscreen (with interesting moment: three diffrent keyboards&etc) ... at russia blogers maded detailed reviews

        I love 16:10… it’s the “Golden ratio”

        but why can’t we get 18:9 smartphones with under display selfie camera?

        I’ve seen a lot of youtubers seitching to 18:9 (Univisium), because 18:9 perfectly fits the iPhone space area below the dynamic island. It seems 18:9 is the future.

        Why isn’t there a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S without a chin?! 👀

          Now imagine this with a 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratio inside screen…

              I'd like to see this adding a 3.5 jack,then not only great for viewing media, could also be fantastic as a music player .
              So much potential here could be the perfect all-rounder

                I really wouldn't mind a regular non-clamshell phone of that width.

                  Can't wait any longer for the full review to splash out...

                    This is hands down the best foldable design so far. I really hope this is going to become popular form factor.

                    Honestly this is my dream phone - instant buy, if only it was different brand not huawei, with normal chipset, normal OS, google services etc... ideally midranger with toned down specs - only wide and ultrawide camera, 90hz display, etc... and matching price.

                          I don't know how I feel about this phone. One moment I like it, the next I'm not sure. As a book fold user, I would definitely get this over a flip as a complimentary device. It looks a little too thick though, but I'm interested in trying it.

                            the problem with companies like asus, apple, sammy... etc, they're selling somewhat small sized phones that are high end, most people would love to buy 200-400$ phones that are at most 6in tall, with the normal specs of the current phablettes, minus the battery size tho... but can still be recuperated if they make the phone slightly thicker and get rid of the camera bump.

                              YES! I hate how tall phones are! I wish they're wider and shorter. Bring back 16:9 aspect ratios! I have a really tall face, but my 6.1" Pixel 6a is way more than long enough for calling. It can be a whole inch shorter and it's microphone will be level with my mouth.

                                proper innovation being led by the company with the worst sanctions. I dont really like the high prices of Huawei phones considering their lackluster chipsets/lack of Google for the price at least.

                                But I HIGHLY respect all the breakthroughs they keep doing. Magnificent stuff.

                                  It looks like you get the best of both foldable concepts with this one. I can respect Huawei for trying something different as well.
                                  I'm not entirely sure on the camera design, but on the whole, the device looks great.

                                        Looks great, would love to see other phone makers bring phones with this form factor, Motto, samsung, vivo, oppo, xiaomi.
