Regular phone sensor would need triple exposure to even come close. M4/3 sensor is where it'll get really interesting with push for dedicated camera sensor.

                      vik457, 12 Apr 2025So what do you thibk about ov50x?While it doesn't have TCG or HDR in previews (as in whilst you're in the middle of taking a picture) — both which the smaller-sized Sony LYT-818 has — it's still a great sensor. DCG + LOFIC combined on a single sensor, especially on a 1"-type sensor, is great. QPAF is going to lead to worse sensor crops for 2× simulated zoom, but I honestly don't know if that's a bad trade-off as long as the phones it's in have a 3× or lower optical zoom telephoto. Even Vivo's X200 Ultra's 85mm periscope might be fine for the job in most scenarios.

                      Also, more competition is always a good thing.

                                      Motorola wasn't even able to get their hands on any snapdragon 8 gen 3 last year. Though Lenovo was able to it for the legion tablet end of last year.
