We don't want ai oppo, we just want a OnePlus open 2, for your find X5 foldable phone to be easily accessible in the EU and for you to use a Snapdragon chip in the find x8 series! How hard can that be?

Feem, 12 Apr 2025Oppo in Las Vegas is the closest that Oppo will ever get to... moretechnically, they're selling them there, through oneplus tho, just not their "cheap" lineup of phones.

customers are part of business and vis-e-versa.
its about information they have on you and for what purposes they use it and at worse.
even the person has nothing to hide, it can be a risk for him to share if its gets into wrong hand. nothing is secure and private in electronic devices. you can hack the hacking device too. it is up to you to how much you think is okay to share online. as most of information about you is already there with them via several entity (gov, bank, online accounts).

ps: don't worry, you're not that important to 99.99...% of people lives on earth or aliens. share nothing and still you can be found online, somewhere in records which got data breach. so share things as you think its okay to share in public.

"It will learn from users' activities, interests, data, and memories to provide personalized AI experiences."

It's interesting how that in the AI sphere you can simply replace unpleasant words like "store", "record", "monitor" or "steal" with the buzzword "learn", and suddenly it's futuristic and cool.

So this "Oppo AI" is basically just a rebranded Google Gemini? Great.

how can they aim for that number of people when they haven't sold that many of flagships? cause we all know that these "features" won't come to their best selling phones (which are much "cheaper")

What personalised experience do i really need after a device knows all my data and habits? I think this AI push is a recipe for disaster
