I only check elsewhere for release dates, because Samsung is so inconsistent and nowhere was this ever mentioned that delay is because of graphics stack underneath being entirely redesigned. Not once anywhere.

      PepperPot, 13 Apr 2025Interesting to know. I honestly was not expecting too much ... moreI am running the beta on s23 ultra as well as S24 ultra. I have tested the gpu pipeline as well using logcat and adb commands as well.
      The thing I can assure you of is that the 1st beta that Samsung sent was running vulkan pipeline then the 2nd beta had opengl but then the stable update came with vulkan once again.
      Most people from xda that I know of have had their battery life increased by a significant margin.

      I am not praising samsung too much because of the delay but credits due here. They have prepared their OS skin for the next subsequent major android updates which will most likely fastrack their update game once again.

        It literally says begins April 14th for S23 users so most likely thats when South Korea and China will get it, if your device is unlocked it will probably be out later in the week so wednesday or later. Depends on your carriers too

            If ya want more there are. Sadly if you stay on this website only you just get Samsung haters crying about how long this update has taken and not even knowing anything behind it. Thats just typical for haters thye froth at the mouth for no reason, so excited with their small miniscule android 15 update where there was barely anything new.

            And were hating over the massive overhaul that was One UI 7

              There is a reason why this took so long to deliver this update its one of samsungs and even other android OEMs biggest updates EVER ( only apple has as big or bigger) and people couldnt be patient for it, and haters just hate

                    Considering the amount of Samsung devices people own for many years (like with iPhones) it's nice seeing these devices getting the same treatment as current gen devices.

                    At the moment at least it's far more sensible/better deal to go for the last gen or 2 (will easily last you 3 years/ until you want to upgrade) and usually have huge discounts/a lot of well refurbished models. One thing Samsung need praise for

                          Someone please explain to me why S23 gets priority over s24 fe? What's the point of having the letters "s24" in the name if it's not treated as that? At this point it's just a high end A series with a flagship name.

                                What about Samsung A52s 5G ? Its software should also be updated. It's also a product of SAMSUNG.

I honestly was not expecting too much of a difference in the performance because Android 15 & One UI 6.1.1 was running perfectly fine on my phone. I was wrong. My Z6 is running as snappy as the S25 Ultra I played with a few months ago.

                                      As I was scrolling through the settings late last night I was surprised to see the display motion was set to 60hz. It's been so smooth, I was certain it was set to 120.
