                IP ratings don't protect against chlorinated water, and even if it's just regular water it still may not survive, and there is no warranty covering water damage.

                  on the rest I agree though, A26 can't compete

                    Kudos to you.

                    I did not know that A26 does not have stereo speaker.

                    This makes the entire Ax6 series worse than the Ax5 series.

                    Not to mention some of them have price increase.

                      Samsung should have less products in the A-series lineup to focus their product R&D.

                      To be fair, to a normal consumer, they will just go whatever their budget can affford. However to users that are very much informed (and is not afraid to go to other brands), they will definitely consider alternatives instead.

                      If one should buy a Samsung, they must go for the top A-series or the flagships--their cheap phones are just bad.

                            GSM Arena comparng A26 vs A36 is like comparing a Jeju Gamgyul vs a slightly bigger Jeju Gamgyul.
                            (I intentionally did not use Apple as no matter how much Samsung tries to copy Apple, Samsung will never be like Apple. EVER!)

                            GSM Arena SHOULD compare A26 to A25.
                            But they won't, since the A25 have BOTH a SD card slot & a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
                            And this is intentional!

                            Meanwhile, you see GSM Arena comparing A56 vs A55.
                            Since both already do not have the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
                            While also removing the SD card slot in the A56 vs the A55.

                              CMF phone 1 is 40-50€ cheaper than a26 and it is far better phone. Modern punch hole, 2 gb more ram, faster soc, 4k for back camera, far better battery life, smoother os.

                                Now compare a36 and a34. Except punch hole difference, everything is the same.

                                    The A26 sacrifices way too much for a €40 difference. While not a bad phone on its own, considering the price, I‘d rather save €100 and go with A16, or spend the €40 and go with A36.

                                      All are good but the price is ridiculous for both the devices for what it has to offer. Samsung need to step up their game.

                                        There are much better phones for the same price as a36 with double storage and 12gb ram... And you get charger in the box.
