I have Pixel 9a and 9. 9a is much more comfortable to hold.

          GSMArena got the Pixel 9a in for review back on March 22. Now they're re-setting the date claiming they got the 9a in for review on April 22. This doesn't make any sense.

                    In the real of Mediatek and Snapdragon that performance is just a bit better then 7 gen 3 or Dimensity 8200 and they dont call them as flagship and say as top middle class. Even tough top middle class for Snapdragon is SD 7+ gen x and then the SD 8s gen x

                        Just like 1.6L engine Toyota Corolla takes less fuel and is more efficient then 3.0L engine Toyota Camry

                          I'm looking at Amazon reviews and it is filled with fastboot report issues. Not a good start. I'm a happy user of Pixel 6a and I don't like the Pixels starting with version 8. I will probably switch to some used Pixel 7.

Chip is the best you can get at that price unless you want more compromises (e.g. Poco F series), and the display is really good excluding the bezels, but that's about it. The 9a is also really close in price to what the Pixel 9 is currently going for.

                            I say all this as someone who uses a Pixel 7 Pro.

If Google didn't "handicap" it with the bezels, the majority of people wouldn't pay extra for the Pixel 9. If I didn't have the money for the Pixel 9, I'd choose another phone over the 9a, simply due to the size of the bezels.

It's only 50 different at the moment which makes the 9a less appealing.

It's hilariously incompetent of them — especially since the price hikes in the last few years — because they're not a market leader in most countries by any means.
