Samsung Galaxy M36 runs Geekbench with a surprising chipset

It looks like it will be more different from the A36 than its predecessor was compared to the A35.

Maybe it’s time to retire the M series. It was competitive few years back, but now, considering everybody else have IP rating and large M series has lost its competitive edge.

Every other smartphone company may gain or lose market % but will definitely gonna lose market this time it will be huge loss . I am okay if this post didn't get posted at all. 🙂

That sucks. So just the same chipset as last year. Add some sort of water protection at least and for the love of all that's good, don't remove stereo speakers.

M series is proving to be a disappointment this year.

These rebrands have been going down the hill. The M series used to be the phones with a 7000mah battery, now they've regressed to 6000mah and other cheaper Chinese phones have migrated to a 7000mah battery.

They're not even good compared to the A series. The A series atleast have ip ratings, the M skips out on those and gets a worse chip every time.

Was afraid of this happening when M56 launched with exynos 1480. What is the point of designing M series now. Just rebrand A series and that is how we will get better build quality atleast. Only downgrades with samsung phones now.

That's great, at least it's not a downgrade compared to the predecessor of it, altough they can still move to a thinner body with a 5000mAh batter and actually make it a downgrade.
