LG D820 is CDMA G2 model, not the Nexus 5

I was seriously impressed with the Nexus 5 specs and price and wanted to get one until I realised it's a Nexus device so for me is as useful as a chocolate fireguard because they all lack memory card slot because I'm already using most of the 64gb card on my S3 and need more memory.

Have you actually used an LG device phone wise in the last year or so since the Optimus G, G pro, and Nexus 4 were released? While their phones used to be bad they no longer are at all. If this was 2 years ago I would full on agree with you, but it is not and they have come a long way in the last year or so

I doubt this so much it's beyond words. The D820's software was listed as "[...]KeyLimePieFACTORY[...]" which translates to it being Android 4.4 KitKat. Taking into account the amount of time it takes for LG to come out with updates, and the fact that KitKat was JUST announced, there's no way it's the G2.

Androidpolice is calling BS on evleaks post about this as well. The follow-up photo he shows as "proof" shows only the 821 and another model. Both of those DO share the exact same size specs as the G2. However, the 820 has completely different dimensions, and, as was seen in the FCC docs, matches the layout of the camera on the back exactly with the Nexus device shown in the Google video. Me thinks evleaks got it wrong this time, or is just trying to cover it up for some reason. the 820 IS the next Nexus.

Seeing that the FCC filed a phone that is running AOSP Key Lime Pie, was codenamed hammerhead and had an 800mAh smaller battery than the original G2, I have a hard time believing this phone was the CDMA variant of the G2.
Also, it sports a multitude of LTE frequencies that will never be used if it's a CDMA carrier-only phone.
Also, it doesn't support Verizon fully. If it's the CDMA version of the G2, why no Verizon?

Sorry ! I thought it was the highly anticipated Nexus 5 . Come Nexus 5 . And it comes with high specifications and a better camera ! And 32GB storage .

I call BS! Did anybody see the back plate of the phone in the FCC documents? That was not a G2. This is the NEXUS! Too bad if you don't like it. I for one can't wait! I had the N4 and it is the smoothest phone I have ever owned.

Lg nexus is not bad at all, but I think they should reconsider putting fm radio, card slot, apps2sd functionality, and max of 4.5"screen. If those things will be done then it will make nexus to be unbeatable for 1 or 2 phone generations.

Thank goodness!! I would've been beyond disappointed if LG was in charged of the next Nexus. IMO LG doesn't build quality phones, regardless of their specs.

not true. other than the snapdragon 800, the LG D820 has nothing in common with the G2.
the display size, overall dimensions, shape, camera placement, button placement, android version number and battery size are all different.
i think evleaks meant to say the LG-D821.

right, but the phone the guy is holding says "NEXUS" really big and clear on the back... so if it is a CDMA variant of the G2, i highly doubt that it will have that nexus logo across its back.

But neither the dimensions of the phone, the size of the screen or the version of the OS matches the documents of the FCC:

In the FCC the phone has: 5" screen, 68.2mm wide, 131.9 mm tall and Key Lemo Pie.
While in evleaks the D821 has 5.2" screen, 70.9x138.5 mm and Jelly Bean 4.2.
So I think this time eveleaks is wrong.
