And on top of the already good retail price, i got it with a heavy discount. I miss those times

THAT'S how good the S20 FE was in terms of value in that market at that time. A relative had it and it was pretty cool to me.

                But yes, if anything, the S20 FE single handedly saved Samsung from an even worse year for flagships, after the Exynos 990, the overpriced S20 range, and the 60Hz plastic Note 20.

                  i was hoping for a flagship mediatek processor (d9400 or atleast 9300)⁷, but it is what it is

                      Samsung's FE series started in 2016 or so, when the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 was fitted with a smaller battery due to lack of space in the phone, and launched in Korea only.
                      The phone was (literally) on fire, as the battery didn't have breathing space, an important lesson for the industry.

                      Today, I don't think even Samsung knows what FE series actually stands for, or what should it mean for the phone itself. Randomly, some things are changed in their flagship, and FE we have.

                      My family member has a S20 FE, great phone, no idea what FE in it means though.

                          There were rumors that Exynos would also be made by TSMC. I have no problem buying Exynos at a discount or regular if it's made by TSMC.

                          Exynos 2400 "T" would likely be a w for Samsung.

                            Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 could have been better

                              Anonymous, 10 hours agoThere were many S20 FE and most of them weren't.the one that came out in 2020. There were only 3, S20 FE, S20 FE 5G and S20 FE 2022. The 2022 one was just there for no reason, only to capitalize on the success of its predecessor.

                              Idk why you're not a fan of the S20 FE, it had a fully featured triple camera system, the best chip at the time, 1080p 120 hz display and a microsd card slot. It destroyed the Oneplus 8, a phone I loved, thoroughly in terms of value and it was the best value phone of that year, perhaps one of the best value phones EVER made.

                              So yeah, idk what you're really complaining about. Tell me about a phone that came with more for the same price, let alone LESS.
