USA operators are just scammers who wants more money with less efforts.
In europe i pay 9 euros for unlimited + free roaming over 122 countries.
And if you are not a fiber costumer you pay 19 euros and have 310 GB of data.

Ouifuf, 23 Apr 2025I forgot how limited American cell services are. In mmy cou... moreIt's largely because we have much higher infrastructure costs, both in terms of coverage (it's a big, spread-out country, so many more towers are needed per capita than Europe or Asia) and technology (we tend to use NA specific frequencies, like 600 MHz Band 71 or 700MHz Bands 12/13/17). In terms of pricing, American phone plans can really only be compared to Canada or Australia given these circumstances. Regardless, it is possible to get unlimited data from MVNOs for as little as $25-30 per month, although that comes with de-prioritization and no hotspot. Google Fi is intended for people who will be roaming internationally and is priced to compete with T-Mobile (who offers unlimited, albeit throttled roaming), AT&T, and Verizon (which charge premiums per day or billing cycle for most non-Canada/Mexico roaming).
