Barbie phone is the same as the 2660 flip (or 2780) and it costs almost 2x in my country. The Barca 3210 will be costlier than the regular 3210 without any improvements, unless you consider wallpapers, themes, and ringtones as improvements.

    It's like how Puma makes t-shirts and then some t-shirts have a Mercedes logo, but it's the same t-shirt. It makes it costlier. We're paying for the collab and getting nothing substantial in return.

                With their feature phones, I don't even understand what they aspire to do. Here in India, they've made a big deal about people using feature phones. Sure, there's a lot of us who use them, but most of them also have been complaining about the poor quality. Sadly many of these users don't have access to the internet so we don't get to hear them, but those who buy these phones and write reviews on Amazon will tell you exactly what's wrong with these cheap phones. Disgusting build quality, weird bugs, poor call quality, poor OS overall, horrible SMS app, poor contact searching and the worst customer service we've ever seen from any brand across industries. Are they listening? I don't think so because the same issues are seen in each and every new feature phone they launch. Nowadays they're not even new anymore, besides an updated year at the end of their names. They sure as hell happily post on LinkedIn about their success in the feature phone market.

                  What is even the point? First barbie, now FC Barcelona. They also have a collaboration with one Indian cricket franchise (Rajasthan Royals). What's next? HMD Crest Max Rajasthan Royals edition with a Unisoc chip?

                  They're missing out on such an amazing opportunity and it's sad.

                  At least make a killer of a phone that the FCB fans would enjoy taking pics and videos with when they go to the stadium to watch a match. What are they going to do with the fusion? Use that gimmicky fill light? Or show off the autographs? What's a young girl supposed to do with the barbie phone beyond seeing it as a toy? What is she going to do when she needs a decent web browser or a messaging app to connect with her parents? Gaze at the barbie stickers? Or play with those beads on that lanyard?

                  There's a ton of ways to make smartphones more capable and also interesting and fun, and HMD is sadly choosing the worst ways to do it.

                    Partnership with FC Barcelona for cheap phones ? At least release a flagship killer phone , oneplus, Xiaomi and all other move away from flagship killer category, this is a good time for hmd to gain market share.
