I saw both Wekihome and Geekerwan mentioning this E2 Chip in their videos so I think what you're saying might be somewhat true but even then, the advertising material is talking about a 200 mah increase in usage, that's not nearly enough to explain the 20%+ increase in battery output we see from Honor for the most part.

            I'll wait for Geekerwan's youtube video, if it ever comes. And i'll go watch Wekihome's vid again to see if he mentions anything like that.

            I translated Geekerwan's visuals on a frame when they were talking about the battery, they mentioned three main points and 4 extra points for the E2 Chip. Here's the translation :

            1.) 7200 mah Qinghai Lake Battery
            2.) SoC Voltage regulating chip
            3.) Energy Efficiency enhancement chip Honor E2 :
            - Fuel gauge
            - battery protection
            - anti-counterfeiting detection
            - electrochemical impedance spectroscopy detection

            I got the video from bilibili as it aint on yt yet but you get the idea. It seems it's mostly for the safety of the phone than improving the battery performance. You'll see most of Honor's campaigning is around that, the PWM dimming being the key highlight of their displays, the ability of their batteries to stay good in cool/hot temps due to the Si/C tech and now this regulation chip. Could be something real, could also be marketing buzz.

            But also remember that Honor has been using Si/C batteries for a long while now so there could be something about the Si/C batteries they get. But they got it right from the get-go and Vivo got it right with the X200 Pro yet didn't with the X200 Ultra, so there's a hit and miss type situation here, what exactly is going on?

            There are so many variables here i can't honestly tell you i truly believe in one. I think the best thing to say is that :

                Anonymous, 23 Apr 2025Why overclock when it's the best chip in the market? Mainly for marketing purposes. Samsung (and now Honor) gets to boast that their phones have 8 Elite processors with faster performance than the other brands.

                  For that price I'd surely buy with no hesitation, top tier specs. The only thing that'd be disappointing is for them to lower some specs on global version is that ever comes out, if not, I hope AliExpress will sell the Chinese version.

                    I'm not sure about gaming, but this is actually quite a decent normal phone for anyone not into cameras.

                            That looks interesting 👀 What's the software policy for this segment/lineup?

                            Though, if it makes into global release, maybe its gonna be expensive as heck?

                              This is one of the best all round packaged flagship phone i have seen. And at an incredible price as well. Its a shame this wont leave china or will have massive price increase in other countries.
