"Motorola announced a trio of new Razr foldables this year. The base Motorola Razr (2025), the Razr+ (2025), and the new high-end Razr Ultra."
Just to clear any confusion.

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2025ip48 is rare and having a charging brick is even rarerExactly, check its meaning out:-
The Ultra is now rated IP48, the “4” promising ingress protection from larger particles.
So, I guess our existing phones are always letting larger particles get inside the body, isn't it?

I would buy the Razor if only it has that perfect Aspect ration that Huawei Pura X had of 16:10 it is the perfect size for content as I just hate the tiny width with Flips that you had to scroll like mad and not great for watching videos either.
With Samsung sitting on its Laurel last few years with only minor Iterative improvements copying Apple's management style, the only real innovators are the Chinese fones lie Huawei who are not afraid to try something different and innovative.,,,,,I still miss my Huawei Mate20x with 7.2inch screen it was a beast for media consumption, unlike the large foldable these days even at 8.2inch but actually smaller when watching movies with those Huge black stripes of todays foldables. It would be awesome if they can bring the 16:10 format for Flips and Folds.
and sadly none offering anything since

Come on guys 3 years of os update and 4 for security ain't that bad I'm more concerned that the edge of the crease would get that black blob before the phone get all the updates.

Can't really accept 3 OS updates and 4 year security updates anymore for what is definitely trying to compete with a Samsung. Why can't they increase it to 5 like Edge 50 Neo?
For the Razr 50, fair enough, I guess.

DarlingYext, 24 Apr 2025The Flip of the year has arrived, no need for the Z Flip7. ... moreyeah there is flip 7 will be around 4.5mm unfolded and 9mm folded, razr 60 ultra is almost 9mm unfolded, which means flip 7 is a true razr with how thin it is and also the display cover over the camera this time, so yeah it will feel amazing in the hand and using it folded will feel as thick as regular phones almost

3 fantastic Razr's-but no pulltabs for easy battery replacements when doing self-repairs, something Motorola champions with an iFixit and MobileSentrix partnership for the U.S. market, bad for a better EU repairability and energy labelling score and no leading in years of software updates promised unlike Samsung Z Flips with pultabs and all that, oh dear!

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2025Any more details on the enhanced 2024 Razr+? It's called the razr+ 2025 and is literally the same thing as the older razr 50 ultra except for better IP rating, down to having the same codename Aura (50 Ultra is Aura24, Razr+ 2025 is Aura25)

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2025ip48 is rare and having a charging brick is even rarerIP ratings are self regulated, so I'd take the number with a pinch of salt. Just not on the phone, as it might get in the hinges. 😅

it's insane how foldable are quickly becoming the same as nonfolding phones, 4700mah and 68w charging, that's impressive for this form factor I may pick one up now if they're on sale

Still not convinced how an 8 elite makes sense with a $300 price increase. Well let's just say flip ultras are not for me.
