potato4k, 25 Apr 2025There’s a rumor that S25 FE would still use 2400eStupid decision, who would consider buying it seriously if they have access to likes of OnePlus 13T, Pixel 9a? (though the chip of the latter lags behind other competitors) vivo S30 Pro Mini (X200 FE for India, weird rebranding) is also on the way.
Another FE model with the exact same chipset only indirectly help the sale numbers (but that of the predecessor by cheapening its price down, the second hand can be already found for around the price of a first hand A56, making it a good value for money)

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2025Samsung wants to preserve the brand value of the "FE&q... moreFair enough, but I still suppose FE phones following S21 FE was never able to live up to the expectations *brand value* innately creates. The most competent model in terms of price and performance balance among all released thus far since the moniker was initiated, to me, is Galaxy Note FE, ironically being a recycle of leftover Note7 parts.

Samsung wants to preserve the brand value of the "FE" moniker, and is worried that this new Z Flip will not live up to that "FE" expectation.
It's a bad sign.

potato4k, 25 Apr 2025There’s a rumor that S25 FE would still use 2400eYeah I forgot about that. S26 FE then? I wanted to see AMDs new GPU. Both 9400 and 8 elite made huge gains in GPU. There were contradicting reports. At first the reports said they gave up on 3nm but after they improved the yield to around 30%. Still short of 60-65% required for mass production.

That's an even worse name, altough it definitely fits the product, given how low-tier it seems to be.
