Always hilarious to see chronically online randos thinking they know more than a megacorp with extensive market and consumer data. I can see thinness becoming a niche selling point within the upcoming years. After all, new trends and preferences emerge all the time. Remember how foldables used to be bashed so much? Well look how they are now. The S25E is probably the same as the original Galaxy Fold, just an incomplete product meant to test the waters. If all goes well then we could see S26E having silicon carbon battery and more.

      S25+ Big Battery
S25+ Small Battery = Brand New Innovation

It's the same size as the S25+, but with a smaller battery and thinner, and people have to pay more for it? That's nothing more than a gimmick.

I know Samsung, Google, and Apple are going to take their sweet time in adopting this Silicon carbon battery thing.

Rather have a "normal" thickness phone but make it light as you can, if it's too thin it's more difficult to grip actually. You obviously lose battery capacity and also the cameras stick out a mile and look stupid.

Flagship price without flagship specs. Not a great position to be in for any device...

Plus version is the best for me. As I don't want a tv like ultra or a small kid like regular one. As for this edge we will see after release.

This thinness trend stopped being a thing in 2017, and for good reason.

Honestly, who is this phone for? Why are they even bothering lol

InhaleCopium, 21 hours agoGenuine question, why people so hype on this phone?I’ll give you a hint. Count how many phones (not foldable plastic screen gimmicks) thinner than 6mm have been released in the last 5 years.

Genuine question, why people so hype on this phone?

At this point there are more "leaks" about this phone than the amount of features it will have.

Nice that they use titanium and this new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
But no anti-glare coating, like in the S25U, I guess.
And very interested in seeing if it will bend or not.

But again, still a missed the opportunity to use a silicon battery...

I don't think "titanium bezel" seems like a translation error. Perhaps it may in fact be true. It would be in line with the 163g weight, which honestly could've been lighter if it was aluminum.

Anonymous, 22 hours agoThis soc is gonna melt this phone down Yeah, but at least the battery will be huge after about half a year of usage, not in capacity tho, just in size.
