Blah blah blah... bigger sensors, better lenses, and more blah blah blah. And when it comes to uploading the photo to social media, because that's what most, if not all, phones are used for, it looks like it came from a Nokia from the early 2000s! Hahaha, while Apple with the iPhone, with small sensors reused 5 generations ago, you upload the photos and they look like they were taken with a professional camera. The only Android manufacturer that can achieve something similar is Pixels... Chinese manufacturers have only improved the hardware for invasive marketing, but in terms of software, they are far behind Apple and Google with their disastrous Pixels.

SF26, 10 hours agowelp they can just reuse the ultrawide camera sensor from l... morewell sucks to be you then. The telephoto is the main target of phone manufacturers, not the UW cam. Most people I see use the telephoto more often than the UW cam as well. You're in the niche of an already niche segment, complaining about something like that is unnecessary. Yeah it'd be nice to have a phone for everyone but come on man these guys are already risking it all with phones like this, i doubt many people buy these phones.

Aierlan, 10 hours agoBut they gave a top quality ultrawide on the Nubia Z60 ultr... morethe z70 ultra brought in a camera button and variable aperture for the change, alongside a far lighter phone, this phone brings a Vivo X200 Ultra-esque main cam and a telephoto sensor that's on par with the OP 13.
Ofc the software and camera features/processing arent upto par, no Ultrasonic scanner is there and all that. But I think this phone makes a lot more sense than the Z70 Ultra did. The Z70 Ultra didnt make too much sense to me considering the downgraded UW cam but the 1/1.3" 35 mm cam discounts that flaw completely, especially due to the fact there's no price hike here.

jiyen235, 10 hours agodo you want em to massage your feet for you too? This phone... moreBut they gave a top quality ultrawide on the Nubia Z60 ultra and the price was lower. Apart from a better main camera all the other cameras are worse than the Oneplus 13 (the ultrawide is similar but I think it's a slightly smaller Omnivison sensor). Also most other things are worse except the battery size e.g. screen, haptic motor, speakers, no wireless charging, slower wired charging. They could have definetley included the OV50E from the Nubia Z60 ultra. It would surely cost less than $10 to do so and this phone isn't priced that well tbh considering the overall specs. The main camera though is excellent but there are plenty of other compromises for the price, with the ultrawide being the biggest compromise

If they had made the UW sensor larger they'd have my attention, but x200 ultra has taken all my attention away even though I love the 35mm main sensor.

jiyen235, 10 hours agodo you want em to massage your feet for you too? This phone... morewelp they can just reuse the ultrawide camera sensor from last gen's Z60 Ultra and I will buy this phone in an instant lol, it's just that they apparently "sidegraded" (in my view it's even a downgrade) the ultrawide sensor even though it's an essential sensor in a 35mm main sensor phone since the ultrawide is needed for video recording and for wider angle shots in time.
However, the selfie camera in the Z70 Ultra has massive improvements over the last-gen Z60 Ultra(let's be real, the selfie on the Z60 Ultra is mediocre at best), that's why I'm not considering to buy the last gen Z60 Ultra, even though the rear camera hardware suits my use cases.
As for the telephoto lens, I don't use telephoto much so the current sensor is already good enough, this phone legit just has one flaw that keeps me from purchasing it, and it's the ultrawide camera. I know that I'm not the only one feeling this, right?

SF26, 10 hours agono ultrawide camera upgrade, no buy 😭 do you want em to massage your feet for you too? This phone is only 100 Yuan ($13.72) more expensive than the Oneplus 13 and gives you a more niche yet far superior 35 mm main cam focal length alongside a 1/1.3" sensor which is rarely seen in phones around this price at 23 mm let alone 35 mm.

no mention of the exceptional camera kit, what happened? Why this discrimination against ZTE who are doing a marvelous job despite not a big player? Samsung shaves 0.2 mm off S25 extra thin edition and there's an article whereas the beautiful camera kit of this phone isn't even mentioned
Kinda sad

Would love to see a show down between Z70S Ultra and X200 Ultra 35mm cameras. My money is on the Vivo but the result may be surprising.
