Cyberchum, 29 Apr 2025You picked the wrong example. See every single phone I'... moreAside play store, no other Google app should be a system app, IMO!
Well thats i want to say. Even for camera app many people using other from play store than basic camera app made by the company brand of the phone you using.
Not saying Xiaomi 15 Ultra is bad camera app for example it have all oit needs and you hardly find better.
But that a flagship phone.
In case of something like Redmi 14C for example which is also xiaomi the base camera app there i bet there will be plenty alot better in Play store.
Thus to my example.
But yes you understand my point of view and agreed on what i tried to say.
Thank you friend.
Past few months still trying to tips this site with a tips us function to update Vertu list of the phones last one is Vertu singnature from 2015 since then they made tons of new interesting devices even flips also some smartwatches for interesting prices and some phones got a 10TB disk space in form of free from pay cloud storage yiu can use anytime you wish.
www.vertu.com
Also tried to ask them for review of a monster phone called oukitel VP100 which hasnt been added to this site yet before official sale it had almost 50% discount for like 2 weeks was for 499 and now cost 899.
Seen many interesting phones even those in Barcelona MVC this site told about but this one got bit of everything in much powerfull way.
But noone listen to me noone wish to add this phone.
Sometimes comunication with people behind this site is more than a difficult.
But whathewer.

Cpt.Power, 29 Apr 2025Well yes its my opinion but why to have 20+ apps both from ... moreYou picked the wrong example. See every single phone I've used—that wasn't a dumb phone) from Motorola, to Nokia (be it on s40, s60, symbian^3, Anna, Belle), to LG, to Sony Ericsson, to Blackberry, to HTC, to Gionee, to Tecno, to Samsung, to Infinix, to Xiaomi all had bundled browser, but I installed my preferred browser, regardless. Funny enough, I wasn't using Samsung Internet back when I had Galaxy S2 or Note 2, because I used to be that person who used to see 1st party apps as inferior.
I tried many browsers post-symbian: UC browser (I was actually also using UC Web alongside Opera, pre-android), dolphin, Firefox, puffin, you name it. But always went back to Opera mini/ Opera. But after I got Gionee M5 n 2015, I decided to give samsung Internet a trial after some users talked it up on a forum. I stopped using Opera mini and Opera. I was sold. Just like Opera, it nailed the mobile browser UI (unlike chrome and co that thought that bringing the PC browser UI to mobile was a nice idea) with reachable toolbar, but it went beyond that by making them customizable, too! It has lots of customization options that I didn't know I need. Then, there's the video player. Wow! It also has the handy print feature. No single browser, as at then, had all those features.
But I digress. It's not entirely Samsung's—or any of the other OEM's—fault that there are apps with duplicate functions. Google is more to blame for that. So, take it to Google instead. How about that? Aside play store, no other Google app should be a system app, IMO!

AnonF-1006353, 29 Apr 2025I use a lot of samsung goodies like individual app volume c... moreFriend yes but i am not speaking about features only but about dual apps like having twice app for clocks, for alarm, for brownsing internet.
Most apps and things found on android it self are good enough.
Not everybody uses and needs what you do.

Cyberchum, 29 Apr 2025That's entirely your opinion. Many people I know have ... moreRight? It's annoying there are still people parroting old stuff from the Android 9 days, that having a feature rich platform is a bad thing because of lag when that's far from the truth today. But I guess these are the same people still buying into the Pixel phones thinking their phone will lag because they have the calculator app open in the background

Cpt.Power, 29 Apr 2025Well all should be nice apart horrible Samsung OS in there.... moreI use a lot of samsung goodies like individual app volume control. A basic OS feature that's common since win95 (audio mixer). Wake me up when plain android finally covers the basics, then we can talk again. Same goes for flashlight brightness control. Even iOS is now offering a more advanced flashlight control than android. Also, why in 2025 the user is still not able to create a full local copy of android app data? At least smart switch can do more in some cases (samsung to samsung). I could agree that touchwiz back in the days was bloat, but nowadays it's like oneUI covers basics which pure android is missing, even falling behind iOS regarding some features, which it really shouldn't.

Cyberchum, 29 Apr 2025That's entirely your opinion. Many people I know have ... moreWell yes its my opinion but why to have 20+ apps both from google and samsung in one device preinstalled acting like they ust be there and always asking for updates, running on backround and consuming your memory, storage, battery etc. when one app of each taype is enough.
Thats not subjective point of view but only logical and rational.
As a good example samsung internet over google chrome.
Both you find in samsung phone and both you have to keep.
Both doing same brownsig the internet apart the basic skin there is no practcal and worth difference yet many people still use rather something like TOR, Mozzila or Opera nstead of those two. hats add a 3rd brownser which cost lot of disk space, act like a must be there app. doing the same brownsing the inrernet streaming and downloading what i need or like and prefer unable to delete remaining 2.
Even in phone you dont find a freedom of democracy.

Cpt.Power, 29 Apr 2025Well all should be nice apart horrible Samsung OS in there.... moreThat's entirely your opinion. Many people I know have switched from Chrome to Samsung Internet, and most who haven't always say that cross-platfrom compatibility is what's holding them back.
I and many people also prefer Samsung gallery app over Google photos. These are just two examples. There are others like note app, calendar etc.

Just buy a tv at that point man 😭It's not like you can have a portable 100" touchscreen TV in your backpack.
This can be very useful in schools and they will not have to pay this price in bulk.

If it is very bright, it's cool.
