Samsung's One UI 8 based on Android 16 to AI summarize any online video

Most of the data that is produced privately is junk data. Nobody needs the crap and nobody needs summaries of the crap. For private use, it's all about getting more personal data in order to place more adverts. This is how the companies earn their money, especially Google and Facebook, which produce nothing socially useful. Such companies are also not tech companies but advertising giants that spy on personal data, driven solely by the greedy financial system.

    There is an old saying: a picture is worth more than thousand words. We can safely extend it with videos are worth even more than pages of text.

    That being said... people started to make pictures and create videos so they don't have to describe something with a text ;) good luck to AI reversing the simple way of life ;)

            It isn't about anyone/humans inability to summarize it's simply about efficiency.

            Case in point. Watch this educational video about one of the earliest civilizations. It's about 3 hrs + long.

            Even with chapters, if it had to jump through it would take you a LOT longer to jot down all key important points vs Ai/LLM.

            What about touch typing on a typewriter ir a keyboard using notes or word or notes++ unlimited storage for notes diaries documents and you or anyone that can touch type would be able to do it MUCH faster and more efficiently than by hand writing using massive amounts of note booms paper erasers ink white out etc.

            Look at the years of morons taking senseless pictures of food to show off or selfie and the cloud storage that's massively increasing taking up huge amounts of electricity the globe all over the world. It's NOT sustainable! Even Google dialed back their unlimited storage for Pixel phones in less than 5yrs after first offering it. Corporate documents for business needs to be kept for 5-7 yrs for all corporate dealings not to mention active directory group change records exchange server db of email records etc etc.

            Again in about 50yrs NOT sustainable in present storage mediums. Summarization cuts down on storage space immensely!!!

            Think deeper. Remember the saying man's reach must exceed his grasp. The bigger picture or forest for the trees!

              I do this in 2 steps currently:

              1 load a YouTube video, copy the url to paste to this site:
              https://notegpt.io/youtube-transcript-generator

              2. I cooy the transcribed video into Samsung Notee and therein use Galaxy Ai to summarize. Unfortunately, step 2 takes several attempts as there currently is a character count limit to summarizing.

              Ability to do this in 1 step, baring free RAM available would be sweet.

              Takes away all the fluff and ads in a typical YouTube ad and saves 10s of minutes.

                But can you use AI to write better names for your articles?

                          It's a mystery to me why everyone is so keen on the new Android versions with AI.
                          Apart from the fact that there is less protection of privacy and personal rights, the user is spied on more with every new version and, above all with AI flooded with more adverts.
                          I now have One UI 7.
                          I have deactivated Google's AI gimmick and deleted deactivated deactivated all Samsung/Google AI functions. I have also deleted or deactivated other not so obviously ‘new’ Google and Samsung software that was simply installed on my smartphone without my permission.
                          Everything still works fine and I continue to use my brain as an intelligence machine.

I want to get to the main point. The creator's video is still up, they still get views and I'm sure some people will still watch their videos.

                                    Only AI everywhere,we need something new,capable cameras ,bigger battery,more storage,software optimization.
                                    Too many google services on our mobiles spying on us,this is too much.

                                      Honestly, I really hate this “feature.” When someone takes their time to make a video, there’s a reason for that. There’s a reason they chose to write, shoot, and edit their thoughts, and there’s a reason they want you to watch what they made. Some may argue that these summaries allow you to consume content faster, but if you’re trying to “consume” content as fast as possible, then you’re missing the point. I get that people don’t have a lot of time. I don’t have a lot of time. My watch later playlist is over 1800 videos long, and that’s after binging a lot of them during spring break. But by thinking you can AI your way out of watching and understanding a video that someone took their time to make because they wanted their ideas to be presented and developed the way they did, you’re not watching anything; you’re not learning anything. You’re just consuming.

                                        Great feature and very useful if you are cooking and watching the recipe from YouTube. It can probably make list of item and when to put them.
