Advantages of IPS:
1. Dims without flickering
2. Durable, no burn in
3. Cheaper
4. Can reach higher brightness
Advantage of OLED:
1. Contrast, looks nicer to most.
2. More battery life saving by turning off LEDs not needed.
Overall, IPS has more advantages.

If Samsung also implements that, it would be great. They're one of the worst offenders.

Other than this PWM thing, perhaps repair cost too, there is little to no advantage that LCD offers over OLED.

Common sense would suggest that maybe staring into a display for hours on end is probably not good for you in the first place and your body (specifically your eyes) are trying to tell you something. What do modern advanced humans do, ignore it and try to find a solution so you can keep doing the same dangerous thing lol...

Is PWM sensitivity more prevalent in Asian people? Just wondering why so many Chinese OEMs make provisions for it compared to others.

It is common misconception that blue light damage the eyes while the real culprit is screen time.

Very good, eye health is a genuine concern for OLEDs, glad to see this getting better even with Google. Now when are Samsung and Apple gonna catch up?
