Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge launch date seemingly confirmed

It's finally getting fully official this month.

The market this is aimed is probably more to USA but for that it has a weird screen size as 6 point 66. The sensitive people in there who see a specific car brand car parked in your walk path then they just click and do dumb things. How safe is to sell in a country with that type of a problem in the population ? The sane part are also very believer people that can be sensitive towards the number.

Anyway the camera island stick out from that 5.8mm thick body like at max 3mm ? Sadly base S25 is 7.2mm thick so only 1.4mm difference in thickness. And it's super expensive too. And then comes iPhone with 5.5mm thick phones and their base 16 is now 7.8mm so 2.2mm difference.

Ah well i dont get why they want to make phones be more slim while more fun be like 5.5inch screen edge to edge in something 120mm tall body

    Their last thin glass phone was the 2015 Galaxy A8, at 5.9mm and it was not a flagship.

      That might be the case, but their first Fold/Flip series were both new concepts introduced to the market, while a thin device isn't new at all, neither is the idea of a thin flagship device. The components inside of said thin body might be new, but the whole idea isn't.

Value your money, not the brand. If the price of this phone is lower or equal to S25 - it will be almost OK. It will still not be real, but it will be more relevant than the current one. But at this price now I don't see why you are defending it so desperately.
        I also prefer thinner phones with almost or no bezels, if possible the display to body ratio is as close to 1:1 as possible. With top hardware and top software. But if I have to pay 1/3 more and get less - thanks, but no thanks! I have no problem paying 3k euros for a phone. As long as I get a product that meets the price. But paying 1.5k euros and getting a 1k euro product - no, thanks. I value my money.

          At the leaked price, the device is not very competitive. But, like the Foldable/Flip, it is their first attempt in a while at making something different, and this first attempt is an expensive beta test, it's normal.
          Let them try and let people be interested in this.

In fact, like Samsung missed making a meaningful phone with that Edge. No one is saying Samsung shouldn't release/make this type of phone. The only thing that's not perfect is the price they're asking for it, as it can only justify 2/3 of it max, everything else is greed in its purest form. Honestly, the more I talk to blind Samsung fans, the more I'm glad your favorite company is milking you so hard!

                            samsung definitely fumbled all the hype surrounding this phone just like they fumbled the oneui 7 rollout. i feel like this phone has already been released by now but every new article tells me it's still upcoming or whatever. just like that snow white movie
