Then buy again and lets repeat the same process.
    Have fun.

Had they used Li-Po, their phones wouldn't inflate from usage or would restart, unless plugged into a charger. Current Si/C batteries are Li-Po (Li-ion Polymer), not traditional Li-Ion. And judging by their track record, they wouldn't include Li-Po or Si/C anytime soon.

Well i got it free for a year at no aaditional cost for my S24 ultra. But i also got screen and back cover replacement for a year, free of cost with my Vivo X200 pro at purchase. No additoonal charges again. It should be that way all around the world imo. Btw, i live in Pakistan.

I'm not saying that you aren't correct, because in this case you are, but that doesn't mean Samsung can also fall asleep and stop innovating. Samsung is a separate company from both Apple and the chinese companies, if they wanted to innovate, they could.

I never argued for crippling a Samsung flagshig with mid-range specs. Try reading again.
My point was that Chinese phone manufacturers might dominate their protected home market with slightly better hardware, but they need to step up and provide real global competition instead of relying on local advantages.

Because Samsung's only true high-end global competitor is Apple.

I'm all for innovation, but absolutely not if it requires importing expensive e-waste with zero resale value, no official warranty, poor network compatibility and no local support.
Those innovative Chinese smartphone makers need to improve their global availability, support, software, and ecosystem.

Again, the lack of competition and innovation in the global market is not because of Samsung, but because those sleepy Chinese phone manufacturers have failed to make the right moves globally (like not releasing their Ultra phone globally).

If that was true about Samsung, its phones would've better resale value which is not the case.

Well, maybe because it's Samsung's flagship phone and it costs more than 1200 usd.

Using your logic, why does it need 4 cameras, when just 1 good camera would be enough, why does it need the 8 Elite, when for all everyday tasks an 8 Gen 2 or Dimensity 8400 is perfectly enough, why does it need a QHD+ resolution display, when 1080p+ is enough, and why does it need an S Pen, when it's fine not having it on any other phone?

It needed to have everything because of where it's positioned at and how much it costs.

Minimum apps no need to have 24GB ram to run smoothly a phone.
No 150+ apps running on backround acting like they are part of the Anroid and they must be there.

This is exact example between stock android like Motorola and Samsung.
Even a Xiaomi with Hyper OS, or Oppo, Vivo with Color OS or Realme with Realme UI is not so bloated as One UI.

The S25U actually nails the actual user experience: refined design, the best anti-glare screen on the market and the best software experience (like most advanced AI functions, DeX, Good Lock customization, Knox security...) that Chinese phones rivals simply cannot match, let alone the ecosystem part (watches, tablets, earbuds, laptops, even fridges and washing machines).

Also, their products are globally available with on-site support. Let's be real, only Apple truly competes at this level worldwide.

Then factor in crazy trade-in deals, making the S25U as low as €799 in my country.
Suddenly, chasing slightly higher numbers on paper seems pointless compared to the complete package and actual value Samsung delivers.
There is a lack of real competition in the global phone market, and it's not because of Samsung.

The S24 Ultra experience isn't any worse apart from the sharp corners, OneUI 7.0 is rushed and out 6 months after it was supposed to be delivered, and there's a big number of other Ultra-style flagships to choose from. The only thing Samsung's Ultra phone beats them in is the stylus, which no one else offers in that price segment, but Motorola does offer it on a phone that's about a third of the price.
