It is a modest attempt but I think it is another sign that Apple is on the decline. They mock Samsung's Plastic body phones then go out and create the 5C? Just like a 7 inch tablet is useless.....lets release a 7 inch tablet. Innovation is gone. Small, incremental updates is all they will be abled to offer. I'll stick with the full customization of Android. LG and Samsung will always be 1 step ahead. After all, Apple relies on them for components. Needless to say they will always have something better up their sleeves.

WTF? all the hype for this? there are probably 100 android handsets released each year, all with some sort of innovation, yet apple, the richest corporation in the world have but one phone to hone...and THIS is the result? laughable...its going to be a funny battle to watch...amusing. long live GIYF...and ~R.I.P. apple.~

Apple is apple same old things just little change...I dont will ever buy 5s ...tat way samsung is better....for me nokia is the king of innovation. ..rest just try to copy and tat too not good...apple shld have given a bigger screen and better camera...all flag ships have reached at least 13 mega...I thing 5c wld sell well in emerging markets...newaz apple does well in u.s...lets wait and watch

I use a note 2, so yes I am used to a phablet now, but 5" on apple sounds good to me..

Wow! I was truly impressed by the fingerprint lock feature that is sick! Samsung will copy that for sure! I might actually go back to Apple after my S4 contract expires.

Slightly better CPU than the one on a phone which rarely lagged anyway, camera with slightly larger pixels, and a finerprint scanner. For the usual 700 Euros. Is that it? Really, Apple, your featurephone 'upgrade' s basically the same featurephone as before. No wonder your market share is dropping.

BRAVO Apple! This is true innovation from none other than Apple! So what if it looks exactly the same as the previous phone but with a different colour option?
Gold is innovation, folks. Gold is power, wealth and genius.
How many golden phones do you see in your local store? Zero. That's why Apple is the king, they know that 75.68943% of their users clamored for a gold iPhone, and they have successfully delivered on their promise using the billions of dollars raked in from the iPhone 5 to add one colour option.
I mean, why would you need to compete spec-wise with the competition at all, when you have a golden iPhone 5S protected inside of a black plastic case? It's GOLD, people. GOLD!
Also, who NEEDS a larger screen anyway? Steve Jobs said 3.5" was enough, and what was good for Jobs is good enough for you. You should feel thankful that the iPhone 5 was 4" at all, it was borderline blasphemous but as you can see, Apple looks out for its customers. All those guys you see using the larger Android phones, forget them, they just don't get what makes Apple Apple.
iPhone 5S... the safest thing to happen to iPhone, since iPhone.

Great phone. I am not an Apple fan (I hate them) but this truly sounds like a great phone. I currently have an Android fone but waiting for contract to finish so I can switch to Nokia 925.
