The Note 3 runs on 32bit architecture. I'm not sure which professor swindled you but you should get your money back. 32bit architecture can handle up to 4GB of memory. It's like everything you say is a load or hot air.

Go through the android kernel compilation techniques, register handling capacities, DalvikVM processor and task handling and byte code translation systems which handles the processor core operations. You will knw weather it is 64bit or not.
Google does not do fake marketing like Apple does. Google is the leader in new technology and innovation. Ever tried to crack a google interview. 10 apple developer sitting together also cant make it through to google rounds.
And yes, just explain one simple logic, how can a 32bit architecture support more than 2 processor cores and and more than 2GB of memory byte instructions. I am not a samsung fan, but samsung just recently launched note 3 with 3GB of RAM.
