      And the worse part is Android doesn't even seem to be optimized for anything more than 8GB of RAM, especially with these Chinese skins. Even though many of them have a ton of RAM, but they still behave like only having 4GB RAM, shutting down apps aggressively and browser reloading.

        Might aswell have called it AI OS

YouTube and YouTube Music for example shouldn't be pre-installed (or at least should be uninstallable) because they're not a system component by any means. Same goes for Google Chrome, Google Drive and Gmail. Android WebView on the other hand is useless, and I see no point why it's so deeply embedded into Android itself.

            By apps that are useful and make sense to be system components, I mean things like: Google SMS, Google Contacts, Android Auto, Find Device, etc.

              LOL. Memory defragmentation? WTF? Do they even know what the point of defrag in the first place (whose function has been obsolete in solid state storage)?

                This year's Tecno Camon 40 Pro got a downgrade with the Dimensity 7300. It should have at least used the Dimensity 8350 instead.

                A Tecno HiOS + Dimensity 8350 combo would be heavenly!

                  unrelated but I wish OEMs and Google itself focused more on cleaning bloat. 6GB RAM MINIMUM for Android 16 (with GMS) is heartbreaking, and that's just for the stock experience, it's probably 7GBs at best for Heavily Skinned OEM Android ROMs.

                    Tecno's HiOS 14 has improved a lot now. We need the Tecno Camon 40 Premier in India for under ₹25K!.
