Cause why bother when you can just pick up a mi 15 later on the year for much cheaper.

It isn't easy or cheap to just offer all usable bands that the modem is capable of for every phone. This would balloon the cost of the device considerably, as well as delay the launch of it.

I wonder if this 13s has more or fewer mobile network bands than the Chinese 13T.
Because the Chinese 13T is unusable in my country due to missing bands.
Anyway, we shouldn't have to check for bands availability when buying a device.
