Xiaomi's popular customizable, one-size-fits-all watch gets a brighter screen, but the same battery size.

I have the Xiaomi S1 watch. One of the most beautiful smart watches even to this day (I still regularly get asked about it when I wear it). However, after only a year of updates (I think a total of 2 updates), it was left unsupported. Even though the cost was minimal, I think it is somewhat unacceptable. I have now moved on to the Oneplus Watch 3. I wouldn't recommend a Xiaomi watch, unless something changes with their software support policies.

I am a grate fan of xiaomi , but this was verry disapointed. It became rust after only a month!verry sad. I think that xiaomi knew this because i receved ha money with no problem. If there was a chance i should put some photos.in rest for it's price was ok. indeed battery last app. 1week at most .

The big disadvantage is not the region of Georgia😡😡

SShock, 25 May 2025Yet another review with ZERO useful information about Alway... moreEach watch face has an Always-On Display version of it - dimmer and with less elements. Not one AOD per watch, an AOD per watch face.

Anonymous, 26 May 2025Can you unlock bootloader on this fancy new gadget? Is it ... moreHey Granddad!

Do you really want an LCD screen over the AMOLED screen?

2005 called, and wants to sell you a watch!

Case, 26 May 2025"Also what does "There's an always-on screen... moreSo, the useless ugly AOD then. Where you like one watch face, but its AOD is total ugly garbage. And some other has ugly main face and good AOD. And you can't mix and match them. Hard pass then. Even Galaxy Watch 4 from ages ago has identical main and AOD watch face, AOD is just slightly dimmer.

too big for one-size watch. it must be around 43-44mm or it must have a 41mm variant, too.

SShock, 25 May 2025Yet another review with ZERO useful information about Alway... more"Also what does "There's an always-on screen mode that's tailored to each individual watch face." even mean!? Is it some arbitrary fixed AOD or is it just dimmer regular watch face, which is it?!"

Pretty sure it means that just like with the S3, each watchface comes with its own AOD mode alternative. Hence "tailored to each individual watchface". How it looks depends on whoever made the watchface. It tends to be an alternative simplified (and often black and white and somewhat dimmer) version of the main watchface that only shows the time (usually just hour and minute, no seconds). Though sometimes it might include a data readout or two, and sometimes the time indicator also differs from the main watchface (smaller/bigger, different position etc.). You can preview the AOD variant in the Xiaomi app when you select the watchface.

Samsung watches are good but we expect atleast 4 to 5 days 4g call usage and standby time.if they could triple their battery with new invention in battery rather than optimisation i would be happy

Is it rootable? Can we flash custom ROM onto it?

If only it had IPS LCD display them I would consider buying it.

The problem is the mi fitness app ...this is not so good.

Very nice how much and how can I get one S4 watch

Well, I think you guys should've been harsher about this watch at the end. Reading the review there are serious issues mentioned, but the Pros and Cons list felt strangely different.
Gestures not working properly? Sleep tracking inaccurate (even if it's only the software)? No WearOS when Galaxy Watch7 is now similar price with WearOS? How's it even affordable then?

I see the good things about this watch and they're covered here well - but for a potential buyer it'd help to cover the shortcomings a bit more if possible as well. Or maybe I'm nitpicking.
Appreciate the review regardless though, thank you!

SShock, 25 May 2025Yet another review with ZERO useful information about Alway... moreFYI - Pixel watch also has several watch faces which looks the same, just slightly dimmer and the seconds dial is not seen.

So what’s the point of the tracking if it’s highly inaccurate? Might as well just wear a regular watch.

This looks like a nice watch ⌚

I would probably give it a shot if I still had a Xiaomi phone. Right now I'm enjoying OnePlus Watch 3 tho.

Yet another review with ZERO useful information about Always-On Display function.
Also what does "There's an always-on screen mode that's tailored to each individual watch face." even mean!? Is it some arbitrary fixed AOD or is it just dimmer regular watch face, which is it?! I can't believe people in year 2025 still wear blank watches and use only raise to wake. It just looks so ugly and boring not to mention you need to swing your wrist around constantly instead of just glancing at dial at any time.

Also so many watches have AOD totally and entirely different looking than the regular watch face you've set for the watch. Xiaomi Smart Bands are notorious for this and so are many other watches. Only Galaxy Watch 4 that I have has identical watch faces for AOD as it is the main one, just slightly dimmer. And Apple Watch 5 also had that already. It's so hard buying new watch when you get so little actual details from reviews where you expect such details to be detailed. Get your stuff together already GSMArena.

I got mine for a really good price and its pretty good. A note on the battery life, i get around 13-14 days with sleep tracking and auto sports detection turned off. I usually use it when playing badminton and squash so battery life is decent. The new Amazfit Balance 2 might be a good competitor when it comes out later this year(I used the previous Amazfit Balance).

                                        This is pretty awesome

You can just theme your watch to whatever you want, it's also not that expensive in comparison to Samsung or Apple
