As I look they made again the weakest hinge ever (double folding OMG). It will brake as soon as you expected.

The hinge could hellafragile, I'm sure you can't drop once your headphone for it to break into pieces ; Worse hinge design I have ever Seen... like are they into selling repair?

I would rather have headphone Like REPEATAudio Prince,

that a thing that instant break if you accidentally fall on the ground once,
Modular design- and free repair any components, even battery

They need to fix the comfort.

Until then it will remain the Bose QC series for me.

WF-1000XM6 were released in late July 2023. I prefer in-ear headphones. I hope these will be released this summer too.

i've been using the moondrop x singer which sound nice for the lower price range, the only issue with them is the anc so xm6 might be another option worth looking at.

Beats has been huge hit among young people despite the super low quality audio. Sony offers top noise cancellation and above average sound. Majority of the potential buyer is in the market for exactly that.
Sennheiser open back headphones are awesome, however they are not stylish, not so good noise canceling or none at all, big ans heavy.
                                Companies know their customers.

                                  I really like my WH-1000XM4

You would think that a $500 headphone—even from a consumer brand—would sound high fidelity, but nope.

Unless you're a typical college girl/guy who doesn't have a sense of what's good audio (or generally don't care for hifi), the XM5 pales in comparison to the majority of hifi brands. And I'm certain the XM6 will still sound the same, as in no improvement in resolution or detail.

I don't think I'm a huge audiophile, but I generally do have higher standards for sound quality. Already very happy with my $85 Phillips SHP9500. Rtings absolutely praised the hell outta them, though granted those are open-backs.

HIFIMAN has some good closed back headphones that I would recommend everybody to check out. I am sure they've got some ANC ones as well.
