eepymeowers, 12 May 2025ol' reliable and it lasts long, what's there to c... moreIdk why people on here still complain about 5000mah batteries. Unless you're gaming for hours a day 5k is more than enough to get through the day even with regular usage. Having giant, untested batteries doesn't add much to extra value unless you're regularly going down to 5% daily which most people don't, especially since most cars are able to charge their phones there really isn't any excuse.
I did notice that most consumers that want giant batteries are usually from poor countries so maybe it's the inability to have reliable charge times for them, but if that's the case why do they care about flagships that are out of their price range anyways? They should stick to their 7000mah china xtreme pro max super turbo midrange phones

I'm looking forward to continuing with Sony Xperia and moving on to the 1 VII) (purple). It remains to be seen when it will be released in Europe and in which country. However, for in-ear headphones, it's still a battle between Technics (EAH-AZ100) or Sony (WF-1000XM5, future XM6)

[deleted post]Disagree. It's those equivalent to Apple fans when it comes to Android world aka Samsung fans.

look, I'm excited, but I'd love to see a comeback of the 5 series in particular. my 5 V is my favourite phone I've ever had and I plan to use it for many more years to come, but I want the option to be there for others and eventually, me.

Anonymous, 12 May 2025They are like Samsung. Still using that 7 year old 5000 mah... moreEven tho it still has 5000 mAh battery doesn't mean it has less battery life. For Context if you go the the battery test V2 from Gsmarena the 1 VI is fourth in the ranking and this year the 8 Elite is one of the most battery efficient Processors so statistically speaking the Sony Xperia 1 VII will have one of the best battery life this year excluding the Ulefone/Powerarmor Phones.

Very happy with the changes leaked so far, but it all boils down to one thing.
The telephoto sensor.
If it's indeed ~1/2" as leakers claimed I am getting the phone on launch, if not I'll wait another year.
