      Sony first need to compete with Apple and Samsung then they can think about oppo, vivo, xiaomi. And no attaching Alpha camera beside won't help.

        Wow...
        This sounds like damn near a perfect phone...
        It's between this and the OnePlus 13 for value vs specs...

          wait so......that's it? Wow, this year's release was a little lackluster. There are a few upgrades, like a few, like the ultrawide upgrade and longer software support (not that I really care because I don't whine about not getting the latest and greatest Android version like as if it's the end of the world), and no, I'm not even gonna mention about the "Powered by Walkman" shenanigans, it's still the same "DAC" that everyone else is using, with a little more bling

          it's an okay phone, though there's really really nothing that stands out here since whatever's unique on the previous 1s ie 4K display, 21:9 aspect ratio, Dynamic Vibration System (not unique, but it's still a cool little feature imo) are long gone. Better to look elsewhere for those getting their money's worth, no point arguing over a brand/phond that isn't worth your time

                      ff2009, 18 hours agoYou can complain about anything else in Sony phones, lack o... more4 year of OS updates and 6 years of security updates can't be considered poor anymore. It used to be utter trash when they were only offering 2 years but now it's on par with the others.
                      Less than 1% of people are gonna keep their phone 7 years anyways, so that's just a marketing tactic.

                        But the bezels is not one of those things. It's the only phone on earth right that doesn't include a hole or a nocth on their display. If that you so much, you can choose any other phone.

                                        DarlingYext, 20 hours agoWoah, a phone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite, headphone jack, Mi... moreDefinitely it looks like a very good upgrade, but for most that MSRP will be stingy, as Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and OnePlus seriously undercut it given that their phones have been on the market for some time to depreciate in value.

                                        And if it doesn't come with the XM6 headphones bundle, I fear only Sony fans will buy it, meaning no serious competition.
