Sure, at the $1k level people might care, but this is going to be targeted to people who just want a cheaper, cooler phone than Apple can offer.

GSMarena predicting the price to be ~$700 lol.
This is a SAMSUNG FLAGSHIP FLIP PHONE (the FE seems to have no meaning when it comes to pricing). It won't cost anything less than $900. Combined with the mediocre battery capacity, this phone isn't a worthwhile choice.
Anyone aspiring to get a new flip phone should just go for the Motorola.

if flip7 FE uses exy2400 and is priced similar to moto razr60 (using a midranger SoC), it will be good value. exynos complaints for s24 lineup will not exist with the flip7 FE with a reasonable price tag since exy2400 is 90-95% as capable as sd8g3.

Yeah if you were to grab the latest base or Plus just for the Snapdrgaon model, it's gonna be little changes (Samsung will use the Snapdragon to justify since their Exynos has such a bad reputation.)
The real changes come in the Exynos variants (Samsung trimmed the bezels, made camera sensor larger and redesigned in S22, in S24, and they thinned it even further, 7 OS updates and slimmed it down). Name me at least 2 more spec changes in S23 and S25 other than the Snapdragon chip, I'll wait.
The Ultra is an exception.

Until we can find something giving the Flip FE another advantage, it's either 1 more year of updates or a more efficient chipset.
Screw Samsung for limiting the chipset's potential with the S series!

I dont get the whine on the chip be hot. Flip phones are not used for things that make phone over heat. I just can't imagine that anyone would spend so much money as how these cost to have it as a gaming device. As i don't understand what other thing in a phone will heat up the phone. Do anyone even use a phone to do some graphics rendering or something like that what needs high performance ? Watching videos in a browser or trough a app will heat the phone up ? I would imagine that only charging would heat these phones up as the other actions done on the phone would not get to a point that it start to heat up.

Buy an S model while it still has a snapdragon, else you might regret it next year when the s26 will be running on some hamster wheel under the hood

i have never used galaxy with exynos soc. what's wrong with it? why people hate it that much? should i avoid any galaxy device in future which uses exynos?
