Helio G200 should have a 2x a78 @ 2.6ghz, mali g78 GPU, 4nm chip, UFS 3.1, 16GB ram, and 4k@60fps recording not same as G100

Mediatek trying to keep it cost effective as possible as why they keep reusing Cortex-A76 cores. Not to mention, the Mali-G57 MP2 GPU as well. You won’t see Cortex-A78 cores at least in mid range chipsets.

              Mediatek has to pay royalties to various parties for using 5G and it costs more than a $1.

                        it reminds me of time when mediatek used to make 4x cortex A53 socs with crappy gpus on 28nm, now they are milking the g90 way too much

                          can they at least replace that A76 to A78?

                                        Its just the newer revision of the modem.
                                        To be honest, to add 5G, it would only cost mediatek (or qualcom) less than USD 1.
                                        Because they already have the 5G design.
                                        This is just a market segmentation, designed to make product have an expiring date.
