Don't be surprised when you see around 2500 dollars for a phone. Sooner or later will happen.

Let me guess, "revolutionary design choice" will be the reason for the price hike

Go for it, Apple fans will pay.

I like how it says "Apple looking for reasons to justify" meaning they CAN price hike, because they WANT to, not because they NEED to. As a chronic Android user, it wouldn't matter to me except that every single brand nowadays wants to become the next Apple and will definitely follow their price hike blueprint, advancing already absurd prices (since when did mid-range become $400-500???) to a new level... I desperately want this industry to crash so sharply that no other tech industry has ever seen, because it's getting diabolical out there with stripped features and useless annual improvements and strong planned obsolescence.

I understand. Massive camera bumb and aluminium are so premium features. It's also Apple.

If the price is raised and people pay it - then it's fine...then it will be raised again, people will still pay it - it'll be fine again...and it'll go on and on until people stop paying it, then they will roll back 1 step and keep it there.

That's how business works, Apple (or any other company) is not your friend, they have no feelings, they have no care about you, they only care about the shareholders and their bottom lines, it's just how the world works.

It's never about need; it's always about greed. (cit.)
