Honestly, it wasn't a bad event. I think Samsung did a good job at alleviating most of the concerns that I had with this phone. The only thing I'm still worried about is if Samsung can justify this phone even existing. I'm not the target demographic, but I still don't see the advantage of a phone that's only 1.4mm thinner than the normal S25 and costs $300 more.
One thing I noticed about the event though was that even though it was only 14 minutes long, a large portion was about AI and not about the phone itself. That's usually how it is now unfortunately, but it's a little weird to see Samsung show off such a hardware-focused phone and spend nearly 30% of the event talking about software features they already released.
And when Samsung was showing off Gemini, the example they gave felt really depressing. They show a woman asking Gemini what artists she should see at a music festival and what she should wear. And I hate this so much. She literally just asks Gemini what artists she should see, and then without even reading what it says, blindly trusts that a chatbot knows her music tastes better than she does and adds the event to her notes. And then later she uses Gemini's video feature to ask it what to wear, as if, again, a chatbot knows her better than she does herself. Why would you ever outsource your life to AI like that? I just hate it so much. I don't even really care about the phone that much because that AI thing really sucked.

3 big problems here.
Battery life will be extremely low.
Thermal throttling, SD elite will suffocate in that small body.
Durability.
Reminds me of Galaxy Alpha. I had one for a while and it was handwarmer. Also had a spare battery with me, because with one was dying trough the day. Was a verg handy device though.

I remember back in the day when Samsung tried to beat Apple to the punch by releasing a phone with a larger battery than Apple was expected to release. That one really blew up in their face (pun intended!). Samsung is trying to beat Apple to the punch with a thinner phone, but because of that, they reduced the battery size?
FAIL!

Come to think of it, I feel Samsung should've given this a 108MP one instead. It may seem like a downgrade, but at least you could achieve a precise 12MP resolution when you zoom 3x, and the sensor would still be better than that of S25 and S25+.
