Things I dont care about: How slim my phone is....

Too much $. However, if it had the upcoming elite 2 (or equivalent) then I would buy.

[deleted post]My Galaxy S8, yes I have one of those too and have used it as my main device for 1 year, has a 3000mAh battery, with a display smaller by almost 1 whole inch than the S25 Edge's display, one that's far less bright and is limited to 60hz and the whole phone is far less powerful, that could barely last 3-4 hours of SoT, no amount of optimization and better efficiency of the chipset can help this new slim device.

On the other hand your comment is nothing but pure insanity and glazing.

DarlingYext, 11 hours agoMost overpriced phone of the year.True, way too overpriced. In the name of "brand value" and "One Ui" they're selling inferior hardware.

            4 months back I paid $900 for a new 512GB S24 ultra without trade-in and I still feel like I overpaid.

Samsung should have gone for a Silicon Carbide battery. Or , their marketing department should have already had hard numbers on battery life. Simply saying "all-day battery life" makes me doubt that it can last the entire day in normal scenario. 3900 mAh on paper is tiny ! And that too for a 6.7 inch QHD display.

J.M.A, 13 hours agoThey should call S25 slim insteadI suppose Samsung already own the right to use Edge in their name (as for S6 Edge), but not the word Slim which they would have to buy expensively from another company which own the registered trademark.

look I don't know who this device is for but even without comparing to the competition the S25+ is a lot more worth

Anonymous, 11 hours agoI have a smaller battery on my two years old Flip5, with a ... moreSounds about as believeable as Samsung themselves saying that this thing will have all day battery life.

1400 eur for a phone which wont last half day on heavy usage and with ancient charging speeds.
                      Samsung went Nuuuuuuuts,

i wonder how this will drop in price

                            Stupid device

Cutting thickness sacrificing battery and camera, same weight as vanilla s25

Joke device. R&D shd ve been able to spread the battery cells across the broader footprint.

Expensive! Better go with s25 ultra instead.
Price should have been $799 at max.

Even if you absolutely have to have a samsung flagship for what ever reason, there is absolutely no reason to get this over the s25+ which is only 1.5mm thicker but you get way more and pay less. But its probably gonna sell like hotcakes because of fake hype and marketing.

Most overpriced phone of the year.

Mills, 11 hours agoUnless Samsung pulls of a miracle, the battery life will be... moreI have a smaller battery on my two years old Flip5, with a 120Hz 6.7" display. It has absolutely no issues getting through a day, and more. I can game for hours and hours straight. Why? Because Samsung knows hardware and more importantly, Samsung knows software.

Unless Samsung pulls of a miracle, the battery life will be HORRENDOUS. The battery cell barely breaks 4000mAh, paired with the newest SD chip that will surely suck a lot of power, along with a (LTPO) bright QHD+ (1440p) display. Not to mention its 25 watts of charging.

If you're charging iPhone Pro Max money, just buy that or the S25U if you're looking at Samsung already.
